There are a lot of companies out there in the alternate energy realm still low with prospects. You just need to do a little research... Start with London stock exchange site Search and filter for alt energy category and start looking in to some which may be good investments for you.

Yes this is updated to suggest a deal will be done and paperwork is being done to implement it... although urged caution it could go either way still.

Exactly big buys are meaningless - even Buffet and all fund managers and investors get it wrong at some point. I was just reading about buffet losing on IBM for example... But this is certainly at the moment heading in a nice direction... Not got much in myself but if it comes off will make a nice bit.

Yes and a lot of chat boards end up in conspiracy theories - manipulation, people paid to de-ramp, etc. Its why you hear stories about people losing tens of thousands on AIM shares as the more it goes down the more convinced they are it is a better purchase rather than they may have bought into a duff company and they try desperately to ramp it for their own purposes - to make their massive losses back!!!

So always research the company and its prospects and not what some anon thinks on a chat board, especially if you can't verify their history of stock picks.

Is he still spouting nonsense valuations? Blimey just look through his history - he admits he doesn't understand a lot in company reports, bought a share simply because the mcap looked low, and has provided about three or four different valuations over the course of a couple of weeks.

Yes an interesting one considering they took on more debt and sold shares earlier in the year to acquire franchises...

I saw a headline about an hour or so ago which said EU had rejected latest offer on fish. Trouble is I think the hard brexiteers in Tory party will make any deal struck difficult to pass without labour and who knows what they believe or would vote for. After all many Tories want a no deal as standard

I think I see where the problem may be is... Vaneck says "Next Distribution Date12/28/2020" which is obviously dividends. Perhaps MVIS have put the wrong dates on and 18th is the correct one.

I just posting what is said on the underlying index site - one page says 18th everything else says 28th. Not a bank hol in america is it?
