My only concern is - 4 years 1.5m subscribers in a country USA size is ok... but consider that a niche market like WWE wrestling (who tops out at about 2 million viewers a week on a good week) gets that for their network subscriptions (and plateaued admittedly). What is the niche market size for British TV? I don't know the answers not sure anyone does really. However, the USA market is of course big but how many realistically want it and how long will you keep something if the shows never change. How long will someone who signs up to see French and Saunders keep paying monthly once they've seen them a couple of times. Hopefully this will lead to more exclusive shows when productions start up properly again in the future to keep you hooked.

In the UK I don't like the website - it doesn't really tell you what is available. I did try it last year when it was first out but I have no idea if anything new is added or what is on there apart from about 10 boxsets they have pictures of on the website. It really is quite a poor website in fairness if you are thinking of signing up to it. I guess that is to try and entice you in to the free trial and hope you don't cancel.

There are some things Britbox definitely need to improve on to catch the attention of people (like not having some of the shows on iplayer and itv hub for free which you are now paying for on britbox!!). The future is definitely streaming and the market is there I just think ITV et al. need to be upping their game to make the most of it.

Spread isn't that bad in reality. You can buy now for around 1.02 and my sell is coming up around 1.02.

I sold out before Christmas after making some nice gains over the year. But never be afraid to re-enter a share if there is opportunity again.

Maybe but most things need 60 votes to get through not a 50/50 split. So no guarantees but a lot more hope than before.

OK. It is one thing to make fun of someone's investment advice on ITV for getting it so wrong and continuing to try and peddle their nonsense (and for moving into other shares that have underperformed) but really does it need a paragraph trying to make all French people out to be the same and fit some old stereotype? My parents have lived in France and we know some very very lovely French people who certainly would not match that.

I'm not too worried - everything like this is down several percent: solg, eua, then other stocks like ecr etc. Nothing really going to happen now until new drill results or scally drops if it ever does.

People were shouting bubble in 2009 and waiting for another crash - because the economy was so bad stocks had to be bad - then enjoyed 11 years of massive gains. If the UK is due a correction then you might as well give up investing in shares seeing as how our market never recovered.

So what do you want them to do, keep lumbering on paying staff and costs and have to do a raise like TUI which caused a big plummet today? You can make money two ways - sell more or save more. They looked at the conditions and said save more will impact better than not being able to sell more. It isn't a bad move - it is one tiny part of their global operations. Check their past statements - they were going to get a huge job retention bonus in January, they get a lot of their contracts paid out whether they run people around or not. Coach and UK is a small part of NEX. This is the best thing they could have done.

I agree it should have received an RNS. I got an email from them during the day then next thing it is on the news. Perhaps because it isn't their entire operation they don't have to tell shareholders?! Did they ever tell anyone they were selling their dundee operations in an RNS?

The real interest is the volume - look at yesterday that was a massive amount of volume...
