Actually enjoyed reading about the use of comma and grammatic corrections....way better than the pathetic ramping/deramping we have on this board!

This board has blown up over the last week or so.

Everyone telling each other to Hold/Buy/Sell (mainly sell). Surely no1 comes on this board to take advice from others? surely people do their own research and go with instinct and what they believe will happen in the near/long term future?

Lets be honest, many companies have survived chapter 11 and many have failed - no1 is to know what will actually happen to Cine.

i know what i will be doing and thats not a decision iv made based on rampers/derampers.....i just really hope people do not make decisions based on what is said on this board!

holding. wiped out most of my gains anyway so another £350 isn't going to kill.

I was also a LTH here and down around 12k. Luckily for me only around 10% of that is my personal money and the rest was basically my gains from trading over the last two years.

All the long term stress to end up back at square one really. My heart goes out to you but these are decisions we made knowing it could go either way. We rebuild from here.

i would like to think its an industry related drop but cineworld is dropping at almost double the rate as everything else. would have expected multiple sized drops to reduce at such a low price! 18p!! wow i dont know if this share dropped to these lows during covid?

Hussartbr - totally agree with you. Thor isn't getting the hype it deserves on this forum in comparison to what Dr Strange had.

Being a massive marvel fan I think Thor will do better than Dr Strange. I'd be very surprised if it didn't!

I have read some mixed opinions on why the results could be delayed. Some saying mooky is just trying to long things out before announcing Cineworlds collapse. Most LTH, including myself, are hoping the extra time allows mooky to factor in more good news.

Just want to put it out there. I wasn't at any of the protests or raised any concerns for the movie being shown as I'm just too busy for all that tbh!

If it wasn't taken down then I'd accept what is...if it was cancelled I accept what is. Just stating that I'd be happier with the later.

Guys. I don't want to turn this into a religious debate etc but as a Muslim I welcome the decision of Cineworld cancelling the showings. I disagree with it.

However, as most of you are aware I'm a LTH holder in Cineworld and glad to see some positives with the new screenings.

I just want to put this out there because I'd disappointed to read offensive comments from some of you....e.g. banning bacon in M&S - didn't know they were trying for that and if they are, it's stupid of them.

giantsdick with another silly comment. i can talk to my friends via whatsapp, doesnt mean i will never go out to meet my friends in person now that i can videocall them and have group calls?

people are working from home a lot more, i can assure you most of those people do not want to sit at home after work on the couch to watch a movie on a big tv. they want to get out and about.

it is for sure, especially when you take in your own snacks!!

from what i remember, cinemas were amongst the top performers in the 2008 recession? and tbh, for most people (me included) a nice movie is a perfect way to relax and shut off from the world. cheap price to pay for a bit of peace in this world we live in!!!
