This Ferguson is not some uninterested scientist. He tried to convince lockdown on swine flu; bird flu; look into the man. He does not in his position have to declare interests like our political leaders at all levels; yet he is exercising political power. I assure you he's not poor. Trust the scientists? Only point of lockdown is if we use time wisely to bolster nation immunity. Simply doing lockdown to spread the wave seems pretty small benefit compared to the costs.
