Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Lets leave this 24-48 hours and see BUT with the market price 14% below the offer price it is a done deal. To put the deal in danger we really need market price at or above the offer price.
If Gangfeng had any sense they would be snapping up any loose stock in the market today.
Duster:- If your thinking of buying don't delay
I'll start getting interested at sub 25p
I do wonder when wildly optimistic potential and reality will meet on this BB?
You have 4 bagged in a few short weeks and the shares are unsurprisingly pull back which will continue for some time to come.
A touch of over exuberance is being experienced at the moment give news and funding time to catch up.
There is no rush to pile in.
Nothing much will happen until mid May, even then I think it may be quiet and maybe even an opportunity to top up. News on Tulip bedding in well will be the news we need to push on.
I'm a buyer at around 175p at the moment (probably wishful thinking but it gives me a target if anyone gets itchy feet).
Mick Davis is investing at 9p/share and the market price is 34p/share.
Nick Bridgen sold 15m and Andrey Kuznetsov 1.7m at 30p
That's a hell of a disparity.
FAR is just burning cash at the moment and the money raised is just to keep the wheels turning short term
Proceeds of the total funding package will be used to:
o Complete the expansion of the existing, cashflow generating, processing facilities
o Complete the Bankable Feasibility Study (“FS”) on the Company’s large scale, low
cost Balasausqandiq Vanadium Project (“Balausa Project”)
FAR could very well become a major Vanadium player but you are paying an awful lot for potential with no clear sign when the mine will come in to production let alone where and how they are going to raise the necessary capital.
How do you see it panning out price wise this summer??
I don't know, I told my sister to buy on day 1, I then discovered she only bought 2000 shares (hardly worth the effort and she is sitting on money that needs invested), but is now asking should she invest more now. I have told her to watch for any weakness if she gets in at sub 175p she will be doing well in the next few weeks.
So the question is buy now or end of May after the new shares start trading or buy now? My gut says wait, with fingers crossed, there won't be any new news between now and then. I suspect there could be a few loose shares floating around when the new ones start trading.
Hopefully we will be about 20-30% higher by year end. Not a share you want to be out of or caught on the wrong side of a positive RNS.
Duster you need to cool your jets a bit.
This share is going to stay in tight 10-15p range until at least the third week in May. I then wouldn't be surprised if it came off a bit.
Show some patience, slowly, slowly catch a monkey.
They are making some money then?
No they aren't making money, they have a little revenue but are burning cash.
BMN directors have only sold to settle tax liabilities.
You really don't know or understand FAR nor BMN and I find it amazing that you feel qualified to comment when you have not done any research as far as I can see.
What you on about? They are mining
Where is the mine?
• Treating purchased secondary material
to recover vanadium pentoxide
• Existing capacity around 700 tonnes per
year
FAR are running a pilot plant running at 700 tonnes rising to 1,500 of imported material.
@MIKODX FAR is a much stronger company than BMN.
On what basis do you make that statement?
FAR doesn't even have a hole in the ground yet and you are going to have to raise £100m to get one (Phase 1), with a lot more required for Phase 2.
I was interested and very excited about this company until I read what the employees think. Secondly no retail offering? Shares for the boys and none for the plebs. Hmmm, I'll keep it on my watchlist for the time being, no doubt it will do very well.

Management seems to want to get a bunch of junior graduate employees on the cheap for low salaries; and has the audacity to complain that these graduate employees aren't qualified.
If you're starting out as a developer there are much better opportunities out there. If you're already a PhD polymath and don't mind working with literal psychopaths though maybe you'll fit right in and go far.
No training opportunities. Dev team has hardware that's 5+ years old while sales and marketing get the latest. Low salaries. Toxic colleagues. Line managers guilt employees about taking holidays or full 1 hour lunch breaks. Lackluster benefits package.
Steer clear.
@Spiv:- They have a lot more shares in issue too so it puts a low ceiling to their SP .
Just a couple of things. I think you are confusing market cap with share price.
By the time FAR comes to production they will have a lot more shares.
And most importantly with exploration and pre production miners they look fantastic in the glossy brochures and management until they aren't. FAR has a long road ahead.
Good luck to you.
Time for a positive post on Lithium
https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/The-Era-Of-Lithium-Is-Only-Just-Beginning.html
A substantial proportion of lithium refining currently takes place in China, forcing Europe to rely on imports to fuel the EV market. However, with an anticipated 1.4 million tonnes of refined battery-grade lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonate expected to be required annually to meet EV needs by 2030, it is vital that Europe develop its lithium industry. Markets expect an increase in demand of around 400 percent.
You need to register with Primary Bid to be kept in the loop with offerings and on many you will have only hours to apply (eg Opens at 5pm and closed before 9pm). That wasn't the case with Kistos it was open for 4-5 days and allocations scaled back. Also note you can not buy for your ISA or SIPP.
"Sammy, same reason the rampers are not remortgaging and put everything they have here as the keep saying 80p etc but have investments in other shares. If they were that confident it would all be in here."
You're quite new to this game aren't you?
