A year in the life of Novacyt - does that make you a LTH?2 May 2021 19:06

As has been well document by other posters, by the end of Q3 this year we will have covered all areas of the market: Antigen LFT, Antibody LFT (for vaccine and immunity response), Promate for two gene, qPCR for 3-gene needed internationally etc., but in reality, the bulk of revenue will be reported some considerable time later (as air travel, for example, will peak in July and August). Key performance points will be end of:
Q2 - will see international figures (US in particular could be interesting but cards are close to GM’s chest – could be India or even France). We will also have Novacyt’ s longer term strategy revealed.
Q3 - looking for huge increases in private sales (Wren, Boots, Katalyst, our own Versalab – the network will be huge) due to unrestricted travel and opening of other business sectors – think Westend (thank you, neilrich3)
Q4 - looking for NHS sales, especially Winterplex (no lock down, flu will spread) and further Promate orders
2022 A new UK Health Security Agency ( UKHSA ) – came into being March 2020. Look for the agencies long term plans to ensure no relapse, including continued genomic surveillance. Private revenue from travel air, cruise etc. will continue to grow throughout the year. All those q16 and q16 sold throughout 2021 will need more feeding and can be used for non-covid too.
At this point, (Q1 2022) I believe institutional will start getting in with both feet. They will have two years’ figures and future forecasts that show longevity of the company.
But remember a left field M&A activity can come at any point – big fish eats little fish; even bigger fish eats us? [My preferred, long shot scenario is a merger with our close collaborator AZ, with one AZ share given for each NYCT share :-)]
Conclusion: Simple strategy, load up as many as you can at these ridiculously low prices and sit on your hands. In hindsight, many of us could have made huge profits selling at £11 or £12 level. But we didn’t; and why didn’t we? Because even at those prices we knew the company was undervalued and had much further to go.
Keep the faith and joining the dots… it takes time but £1bn coming with SP £15 potentially this year; who knows where the SP will be next year? I for one am expecting multi-billion longer term value as this matures over the next year or two. You’ll be thanking God you got in early – even if that was £12! All IMO, DYOR, GLA
