RE: WH Ireland - "Toral is one of Europe’s most under-appreciated lead-zinc deposits"24 Mar 2023 11:39

If FCR/EUZ has taught anyone here anything its that micro caps like this cant finance the proving up of projects like this. The cost are simply too high.
Toral had everything going for it as a provable up project but even toral couldn’t raise the finance needed.. Moonlight was bad luck but ultimately too expensive, Toral even with good luck was not viable for EUZ.
I said many times that no one would take over Toral until the PIs had run out of money doing the proving up for them, why would they ? They always knew that there was little point in taking on the work all the while the Shareholders were advancing the project for them. LR realised that there was only so far he could take this before they had to give it away or shut it down.
The truth is this failed with the consolidation. It was already bust at that point but the smoke and mirrors of consolidations temporarily re write the accounts of companies like this but the reason it was already bust still remained and its market cap is now less than the consolidation price.
For you to say “so no more placings for use unless we do find a project to buy and prove up.” Is odd given what I have said above,
The reality is EUZ has probably only survived this last purchase and proving up because DB have chased their losses down from 15p ? to 5p without them it probably would never have even consolidated to get this far.
As I said yesterday the company needs to have a very convincing game plan to attract more investment and given its record on past purchase and prove up projects here it going to need something innovative and very low risk and that’s not a buy and prove project.
