So they evaluate several different ways forward and eventually go for one on the same day they get another placing, and away 12 months almost to the day they said they would run out of money... i call that 11th hour
As for reiterating the 11p valuation while getting a placing away at 4.5p ? well they said it was 60% up on the current SP but didnt mention it was 60% down on their own valuation.

If i had absolutely nothing else to do i would spend my time flatly contradiction your posts too so isn't lucky i have better things to do :-) bet you wish you did too. :-)

I am of the opinion that the Denarius deal is an 11th hour rescue. I honestly dont think we had a choice and we still wait to see exactly how well we really did here. i believe that is why MC is being very coy about the whole thing and i believe this deal is the reason LR left.
the markets still dont share anyone else's enthusiasm which is very worrying.

If only Bricks but i fear the placing hidden in the last but one rns takes us up to 95m in issue ?

Its all a nonsense because a German buyer of goods from me used to pay tax to me/UK, now he pays it to the German tax man but ultimately he pays exactly the same as he always did. The tax is just collected in a different place. The EU is very inward looking and makes it difficult for its own members to trade outside the union. In an ever shrinking world the EU tries to isolate itself from global markets but really they do themselves no favours IMHO.
The internet and on line trading has opened up world markets and i have customers all over including SA, (you really need to sort your postal service ) :-) and traders like me can do very well without the EU. its just too late for me now as i want to wind down not start again :-)

Its a funny thing bricks and I'm goin way off topic here but Brexit didnt bother me with imports. Even now the collection of tax and duty is very hit and miss and about 25% of everything i import is simply waved through meaning i save thousands :-). the problem is people in the EU have stopped ordering, so that was nearly 50% of my trade. The reason this is funny is because they say its my fault because of Brexit ? but i say its not the UK government thats charging them tax and duty to buy from the UK , its the EU doing that :-)

I will retire in 18 months Bricks, I have my own business but covid and Brexit has pretty much finished it so rather than retire and sell the business on , i will wind it up. This means my savings and investments need to work a lot harder in the next 18 months. My health is not going to plan either so i dont expect a long retirement. I'm not looking for a miracle, just a reasonable proportion of my money back, never mind a profit. None of us are the same people but most of us travel the same well worn path in the end :-)

You would think given they are taking some shares for wages they would make some sort of effort ? although i suppose if you have all the time in the world you would do best to keep the SP as low as possible to accumulate more over time. Its a double edged sword. My problem is after 10years i dont have all the time in the world in fact its running out fast.

I dont think anyone could reasonably criticize the field work in fact given the circumstances of covid/exchange rates and constant cash worries its been pretty exceptional IMHO.
To me its a matter of perception.
People dont see EUZ as a dynamic company with a great asset, they see a great asset in toral weighed down by a pretty poor EUZ. This isi why people hold off and worry about possible new purchases. As i said yesterday the problem is you have to buy shares in EUZ ...to get a share of toral :-) this is why i can understand people like Bricks wondering if Denarius id a better route to a holding in Toral.

100% agree Cjen but i have been banging my head against a wall for years about PR and frankly with the loss of LR its become almost non existent.
My thinking is , if we want to progress with Toral and a new project then firstly we need someone who can inspire the market and leas.

Just thinking out loud but what do you think the Trigger will be to add value here ?

Well good to know Shed and Cjen deserve better anyway. Shame about the rest of us .

I'm slightly bothered about how distant EUZ will become from toral. New shares issued in EUZ will be in EUZ and not really related to toral ?
Is there any real argument for the continuation of EUZ without Toral ? how many people here are interested in investing in a future EUZ project without Toral..or will EUZ just become an income for the BOD without a real job ?

I'm not out to disrupt of de-ramp, get in cheaper or wreck anyone else's investment. I do think management occasionally read this thread so no harm in them hearing how the little people think. Sometimes you have to spread some S^it to grow good roses :-)

I invested at 20p which was the equivalent of £100 today but i invested in FCR.
Its unfortunate that up till now EUZ has pretty much mirrored FCR.
Of course there are statistics and statistics and i would never have invested at £100. that price has been bought about by the monumental collapse of the SP that required a 500.1 consolidation just to keep the SP afloat at a quarter of its pre consolidation high price.
Remember when you say 10p, only a couple of years ago people were saying £1.00 and then later 60p now its 10p and no guarantee of even that , so you see how easy it is to get suckered in and hang on hoping for the best.
You can also see why i call a spade a spade and dont have any rose tinted glasses here. there are quite a few like me here who are basically on a free ride with toral as we lost our money on FCR but most have managed to keep quiet unlike me :-)

It does look that way. but surely Denerius are not going to hand over the money assigned for the PFS and licence etc if they are also going to fund these things then selves ? so where is EUZ going to get funds from

The RNS clearly says Denerius will pay US$650,000 in two tranches to be utilised by Europa Metals to fund completion of a pre-feasibility study and mining licence application.
Odd if EUZ are no longer playing an active roll.
I think it might all be sorted at the AGM ? but i cant image anyone , least of all me , would see any future EUZ project as a good investment. Lets face it they couldn't even sell toral to the markets over four years. Even with the recent agreements the SP is the lowest its ever been and only just above half the consolidation price .
