To be fair EUZ has never done PR, its at the route of most peoples gripes from poor placing prices to just a general malaise about the whole project. I doubt MC is going to change any time soon. Now he is financed without further need for shareholders i expect a total news blackout in future :-)

A couple of points, i doubt this deal would have been put forward without both sides knowing about any copper so if its there we should hear very soon. i always said Bens stake was too small to be significant. thats not to say they will not increase it but surely they would do better to invest in Denarius if they want to invest in Toral now ? (as would anyone else ) ?

All that field work in the intervening period should have increase the value, not decreased it by 50%, even you should be able to grasp that. The idea is the advancement of the project increases the value which in turn finances the placings. you dont work steadily to reduce the SP in accordance with the placings.

Actually a good answer Crisp and i dont disagree with the logic however it has cost approx. £2,000,000 a years to drill develop and maintain the toral project on all levels. what do you see the future cash burn of drilling and redeveloping / recommissioning Antonina as well as advancing Toral through a PFS/BFS ?

Do you honestly believe the Broker had no knowledge of the pending agreement when he reduced his valuation of the company by 50% to coincidently exactly match the valuation put on the company by yesterdays deal....god help us if you are trying to lead this forum :-)

5 years time Crisp ? where have we heard that before ? anyway you might be right, the markets will value yesterdays news. while people like you and shed pick out posters to take out your grievances on you have to bear in mind that its not just me or Grappa or any other poor soul that is questioning the route here , its the entire PI community. yes it has dropped 99% but ask yourself why ? is it the asset or poor management over a decade ?
Ask yourself why the thousands of people who watched this yesterday knew it would lose any gains so didnt invest ? then go and blame them for their naivety, not your fellow holders who have already put their money on the table.
usually when an SP is dead cheap the company works to improve to get the SP up. Here they simply devalue the company to match the SP with a placing or some other means. 3p to 5p is now a respectable range for the SP, investors can see that and thats why the SP has stayed, even with a spike, within that range so the good thing now is we are pretty fairly valued.
Even the Broker has gone from 35p to 21p to 11p and now too ? as the asset has improved but lets blame highside for pointing these FACT's out :-)

anyway i only looked in on the news today to see if you would make a fool of yourself and you didnt let me down.
WHI valued this at 12p as a 100% owned asset, it will be interesting to see if they update that if this goes through.

I will explain. so they have $7m, EUZ has ploughed through £4m+ in two years or $6m converted over 2 years. so its not gross hyperbole at all. anyway its not what they put in, its what we have left and the reoccurring message in every RNS has always started "The Company's 100% owned Toral Pb, Zn & Ag project " in future it will be "The Company's 20% stake in the Denarius owned Toral Pb, Zn & Ag project " :-)
I always said a suitor would wait till we ran out of cash, wait till we had developed this as far as we could, then step in and take a huge chunk at a knock down price and guess what ?.

Anyway, no matter, its better than the alternative and losing the lot but ultimately it will be down too others if the deal goes through so nothing we can do about it.

The reality is the base line for this was 5p, its where the consolidation left us and any figure below that was always going to be an all time low despite progress on site.
The price eventually went sub 5p as the money ran out and there were fears of further dilution which was understandable. The worry now is the SP is still 25% down on its 5p figure even with possible funding. That said it might rise a little over the coming weeks but as I see it we were valued at 11p-12p and 20% of that is about 2.2p

So ..they put £12m in over 5-6 years, took it as far as they could till the money ran out and gave away 80% valuing EUZ's bit at about £3m....i would say that the certain posters who were saying nobody would bring finance to EUZ because they could pick up the distressed asset on the open market for peanuts when the money ran out were not far off...except they only picked up 80%..lol
a few questions remain though
If this was the best of several routes they were considering what must the others have looked like ?
DNRSF today look to be almost as dire as EUZ a couple of years ago.
If DB and Ben are behind the BOD on this then what does that say about future, I'm sure neither bought in to give 80% away...
EUZ shareholders will be developing Toral now for DNRSF share holders, EUZ shareholders will have to hope that EUZ can find another project, without making a pigs ear of it, to return value too their own shareholders...on past record i wouldn't hold your breath.

Agree Bricks but rather like last time when pumped millions into Moonlight and got FA back , i think this time it would have gone under without this deal. I cant imagine they had any cash left and looking at DNRSF chart i cant imagine they will have a lot now either if they have to finance this. Personally i think this is stay of execution and a doubt the deal will go through unless DB and Ben see it as the only option.
On the bright side i bought a few this morning and sold at +40% which is the first time i have ever made any money on this in 10 years. :-)

You are in a very deep hole. Running out of money and not even enough left to employ a CEO. Promoting the company is probably not a priority now. I'm sure its on the radar of all the people who matter and might save you. I expect they are watching, maybe even active behind the scenes. It seems to me the results of the deep drill will be decisive for the future if there is a future. For me the problem was trying to present this to the market without a PFS/BFS . We basically set off on a journey but have run out of money before we reached the first stopover where we might have revalued and set out on the 2nd leg.. The worry has always been that Europa and the PI's would progress Toral as far as it could but ultimately we were working for the benefit of someone else who would eventually pick up the baton that we could no longer afford to carry and reap the rewards.

To put that in perspective 12p would be a loss having put £10m+ into this project.

11.7p would nice for most however i would rather this hit highs instead of making a small recovery back to 12p
Even DB paid more than that. Its all about managing the SP although you would be hard pushed to notice......

For a moment i thought with 4.7 billion in issue they were doing quite well at 100p a share Cjen :-)

I think what we have seen here over the last couple of years is a fantastically effective way of reducing the size of the share register :-)
