Morning all, so predictions for today then? Let’s hope the drop is done now and a big blue day today again please, 25% up would be good.
Yes, you’ve always got to take calculated risks but this is moving like it did when it breached 10p and a £183k buy suggests a very high degree of confidence at these levels. The price dropped too low, this level of buying is completely different to what’s been happening the last few months.
There are companies who are not producing oil with higher valuations and sp than this, the joys of aim. This could get exciting I reckon.
Good decision vicjain, hope you didn’t lose too much. GGP is incredibly unpredictable at this stage, I lost quite a bit when it crashed first time round but luckily traded it well from when it dropped to about 0.5 to get it back! I knew this would happen again but you just get shot down trying to warn people generally. This will be a big deal when the time comes and it will be a sustained rise, it’s very undervalued currently.
I’m looking to keep my money in until the end of the year minimum. My hope though is that it will be sitting far higher than this in less than 6 months time and ideally I’d like to sell some at that point and just let the rest ride longer term than the year.
Getting bored and selling is the 2nd worst mistake you can make in investing and a mistake I have made more than once. If you need the money then that’s a good reason to sell but it’s also a good reason not to invest in the 1st place too!
Morning all, let’s not forget that the Newmont strategic agreement was announced not even 5 months ago. The Company have always stated that they won’t release news of no substance via an RNS. Patience is all that’s needed, next positive RNS could be all that is required to take this to another level very quickly. Look at what the sp has been previously and the Company is in a far stronger position now.
Either 27.5 or 46 depending on how the MMs feel today...
In reality that nomad appointment warranted absolutely no rise, it was a done deal, it spiked up for no reason at all other than MM antics.
I reckon this will go nuts tomorrow or Friday with a huge rise again.
And there we go, see nothing to worry about, some big buys coming through now.
Carp I know it’s just words but AIM is notoriously high risk but it can also be very high reward for those who are willing to take those risks earlier on before prices open up 100% or more the next morning after an announcement. It’s happened to me when I’ve not plucked up the courage and stuck with my research/instinct and it’s not a pleasant feeling.
Everyone is entitled to make their own investment decisions but the price antics of this have been almost unheard of to shoot up to 60 and then in no time at all to be back where it was before a multi billion agreement is announced with one of the main players in the industry. Once Nomad news is confirmed, probably tomorrow but who knows then everyone will be trying to clamber back in probably at a far higher price!
Now I know deadlines can be missed but to release an RNS 10/11 days before a deadline stating that would be very silly if they thought there was any chance of the deadline being missed.
Nominated Adviser Status Update
GCM Resources plc, an AIM quoted mining and energy company, announces that, further to the notification on 1 November 2018 with regard to Northland's relinquishment of its nominated adviser ("Nomad") status, the Company has identified a replacement Nomad. Due diligence is advanced and the Company is confident that the replacement Nomad will be appointed prior to the 1 February 2019 deadline.
I think when it hits 8/9p people will sit up and start paying attention and that’s hopefully when people will take a proper look at the fundamentals and wonder why they didn’t invest. I’m not getting too over excited just yet but that rise today was important and if we can sustain this then it could get very exciting.
I certainly hope it’s finally re-rating as it’s spent far too long at this silly sp.
Filter him, it’s my new favourite button, now if anyone says anything that even remotely irritates me I filter them immediately.
Personally I think it’s more likely to be a buy but then I’m a positive thinker. Every chance a lower buy price could have been negotiated with such a large sum of money.
A decent £152k buy posted late, fairly significant investment....
