A great week for nex investors and good to see a number of large institutional buys over the last few days. Although the current CV situation is terrible, and is doubtless going to get worse before it gets better, with vaccines looking good, brexit out of the way, there are getting fewer reasons to be pessimistic about life moving forwards. With this share still very well below where it was this time next year and life looking better in a few months, NEX is a great place for a good return and although I bought most of my stock here < 150, I bought another big chunk earlier this week as it has a long way to go and risks are reducing. Thanks to all the reasonable people who post here, as although I don't get too much time to post, I try and catch up with just about everyone's thoughts. Have a great weekend. C

... more lockdown announcements coming though, net, net a slight increase of 1% plus again today IMHO. What this does do though is put a floor under the current price and further signposts the beginning of the end, hurrah! Have a great day all. C

Take a look at SolGold, they are sat on some of the biggest gold and copper discoveries in recent times. With inflation on the way Gold is only going one way and with China hoovering up raw materials again, their discoveries are only going up in value. Their current price represents only one tier 1 mining opportunity and their ceo rekons they have upto 5 on their hands. Their BB is great too as there are some really helpful people on their who translate the drilling rns's too. Two other family members and a close friend all have a chunk of cash in this too so im not the only believer! All IMHO, best of luck.

Good on you LongerGuy, profit ain't profit till the chips are off the table and taxes paid. Everyone has their own levels and if this is yours, enjoy! The number of times this bad boy pops at the end of the day, I'd wait till the end of play as I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up 4% up today. I considered selling some late on today as lets face it, more lockdown is coming tomorrow. However with AZN news likely coming tomorrow too, I actually think markets will see straight through any bad news and am just sitting on my hands as this is a great medium to long term play. IMO today is a really good day for investors in a great value stock like NEX at the current price. Brexit boxed off, the beginning of the end for Covid ( although it doesn't feel like it ) will further unlock pension fund money into a great dividend stock like NEX as risk is perceived to be lower and will drive us up past 260 in the New Year. Foreign investment is also going to be an interesting area to keep an eye on as US investors know a weaker dollar is on the way, combined with an over cooked DOW & Nasdaq will also drive money to one of the the most undervalued markets left, the FTSE. The hard work of last summer & autumn is done and now is time to enjoy the next 12 months. Merry Xmas all. C

the current sp represents life 'potentially' 6 months from now and bumps are factored in, tier 4 drama will result in a moderate drop Monday morning for sure, but real investors will see this as an opportunity to buy so will recover quickly. Im holding as nothing changes the 12 months horizon for me. All the best all. C

my opinion only, but trying to time dips is a mugs game and I've learnt hard way. I have 90k shares in this bad boy after buying in @84 p in the RI ( sold the originals to buy NEX ), and I firmly believe this is heading to 210-220 by early summer so I'm holding, ignore the dips and good things come to those who wait. if we get brexit sorted next week, we'll hit 260-265 next week as more pension fund money will be unlocked. 280 mid Jan once everyone has got over 3rd lockckdown drama then steady rise to 350 by spring. All IMHO and Nex are my biggest holding. Best wishes all. C

For me we will reach a deal, if we are arguing over fishing which was worth 784 million to the UK economy in 2018, against a backdrop of 40 billion hit to the UK economy next year if we don't get a deal, this is just semantics and a deal must be close. Less uncertainty means more pension fund cash will come back in and push nex beyond 260. All IMHO. All the best for another week last! C

If you want to vote through HSBC, message the general inquiry part of their siet and they are usually swift to respond. I dealt with them frequently he recent IAG RI and they were pretty good even though their website is quite frankly embarrassing for them. From comms I have had with SOLG today it sounds as if they really need PI's assistance .... "Its really urgent. Your assistance is critical and appreciated." I have read a fair few people comment on what a decent bloke NM is so I think we should all give them our backing.... and with a bit of luck he'll repay us handsomely! ( and hopefully enough for a shiny new boat :-)

Fair point Hollamatronic, however the electric revolution is here to stay and I don't think it will be long before legislation catches up with the dirty diesel bus and forces a change. Like yo though, I 'm definitely going to wait for over £3 before selling, then if we end up in a holding pattern may seek some new opportunities with better growth by taking a bit of profit from nex...... I know this is ramping but on that front, take a look at SOLG, a three way bid for that company is going on between BHP and the Chinese as they have discovered what looks like to be one of the biggest copper mines in history. ... electrification of public transport is also going to be a game changer and nex have already made a start on the shift to leccy busses. Some good pr / marketing on this could also give this share a series kick, so why not back to £4?

when I put money into shares for the first time in April instead of buying a buy to let, I said to myself pull the cash im nex at £2.50. Over time I've changed my mind as all the hard work is done and its just a question of time till this starts to make its way back to pre covid levels. Granted, there is more debt, but I don't think £3.50 by summer and potiantlly £3.80 this time next year is unachievable. For me, hold wait ( just like the last 2 weeks ) and this will rise. I'm going to continue to hold too, £2.00 plus next year for me IMHO once we start to get some normality back. Vaccines looking good so far, just need Boris & co. To get Brexit over the line then enjoy the ride :-) All the best.

Let's hope for a bit more momentum behind the rise tomorrow as today looked good at one stage. Late pull back in all likelihood due to month end profit taking as there was a fairly big sell at the end of the day. A blue day is always a good day though, especially on a Monday. All the best. C

@Davrods1, wow, really not sure where that came from. Your obviously not all there. I thought this forum was done with irrational personal comments and was back to constructive share comment. Good luck with your life and no doubt tiny investment. £2.15 by spring and a new boat by summer for me. ;-)
