Any idea why we are ticking up? No volume gone through

Just checked last couple of trading updates and I dont think they actually state ebitda margin. It's mainly centered on revenue, new customers and average revenue and cost per new customer. Obviously if these are strong it would read through into ebitda but I don't believe they state it explicitly.

Hi robins. It needs news and I am sure they would publish RNS if they had any. The issue is they don't have any additional news! The most recent RNS was a renewal so just essentially standing still revenue wise. I am a fairly long term holder here but feel I have been frustrated for too long.

Looks like we are gaining some momentum here. At the year highs now!

In a way it's good to see the right topic will spark debate but thats out behind us. Also as a long term holder here I see we have a trading update on 18th April. From the final results we were given an indication "Current trading: · Strong start to Q1 2016 with increased number of New Customers and Active Customers, revenues and EBITDA margin". Do we see anything that would have stopped this momentum? I believe not but interested in opinions?

I think the timing of the article is questionable as not everyone would have realised its ex div day. It would not surprise me if this article was a cynical attempt to depress price for others to pick up cheap shares. I am sure a few people who have bought on way up have sold up. This share was absolutely ripe for it as it has gone up in a straight line over last month. I expect this to grind back up. I read half the article as I was at work but Plus500 was mentioned multiple times which is strange because I don't believe we even do binaries. In addition plus500 business model is heavily weighted to the affiliate model of websites referring and routing customers to the website. I would be interested to know what %ge of customers even speak to plus500. That's just my thoughts on it. When I get time over next few days I will try and pick some of these up at this uber bargain price.

Plus500 does not do binaries does it? So we are being dragged down with the wrongdoers? Instead of up with IG index that has announced record trading?

Solid trading update with metrics going in the right direction. On particular interest is the growth in Asia and the H2 update that trading in ANZ is up 20% which must be attributable to the acquisition of the active customers. This is exciting as this business has been built for scale and therefore revenue increases should feed through to fatter profits.

Results ahead of expectations. Revenue and profit up strongly. EPS up over 20% to 6.3p. Dividend up strongly. Acquisitions doing very well and still one acquisition to integrate that they our agreed in January. Should see wholesale buying here as no reason for momentum in the business to stall. Seems client retention is very high as they run an annual survey to make sure they are on point with service.

All good points in these post today. But we are much where we started. The company needs a dedicated team to deal with this issue of poor recognition. Institutional investors would go a good way. Director buys always highlight strength. How about consistently appearing at roadshows and investor seminars (not just one per year).

Agreed on all points this company is firing on all cylinders. Not only is Japan trading ahead. The laundry business too. And very strong pipeline in France.

All these rises and PE ratio is still only 10!

Ctw, no doubt you are right. OPG were one of 4 speakers to an event I went to around a year ago and I made the same point to them directly. Between updates this stock drifts badly. I suggested they should put something out on a monthly basis like airlines do that details capacity, usage etc

I hope they announce news on new projects with the trading update. I feel the share his shackled by the threat of the company raising capital to fund massive projects. Once the fear is set aside or confirmed, then we can move forward.

Now the dust has settled we can see that over results we have moved up 100p in under 2 weeks. I believe that reflects the results but not the forward looking statement. I will take the 100p for now but anticipate we base and move up again as volatility continues.

So we should have the trading update next week then? What are people's views on the continuation of trading in Japan?

Huge results. I have read them twice to make sure my eyes were not deceiving me!! I expected good but not this good! Revenue was up over $50m on last year! Yes we took a hit on profitability due to our one offs but we still made very decent $132m. Those here for the yield will enjoy a final + special div of around 42p. Above all that the comments on recent trading and volatility make me uber positive for Q1. . . Huge gap on open??? When 600p is not enough!
