I've given my reasons for investing - and posting - many times so won't bother again as clearly you don't and won't believe me. Instead you prefer to just invent stuff but I'm afraid you'll have to come with a different and no doubt equally ridiculous narrative now that it appears the short is closing (if not already closed).

Still, someone here was saying the sp would be 1.5p without the shorting activity and if that happens to be the case then I won't be posting anymore as I'll have sold up and shipped out by then for a nice profit. Somehow though I think that was just yet another piece of made up nonsense (though not that surprising I suppose from the supporters of a company that itself seems to specialise in exactly that).

Was just puzzled as to why you mentioned an ISA specifically as I can't think of many crypto stocks (as opposed to direct investments in coins/tokens) that cannot be held in an ISA compared it to outside one - so long as they are listed somewhere.

If you are only invested in UK stocks then yes, that limits you greatly but that's the case ISA or no ISA.

No idea what Debs is worth as not enough info on it and I don't like just plucking numbers out of the air. Put it this way though, if they flogged it for £200m then I'd be happy enough. They clearly need something to sort out the liquidity issues given the reduced debt facility and that should be more than enough - and would be a long time before it earned that much (if at all) if they didn't.

Yes it’s going up but in the same way that a film is so bad that it’s good. Results are horrendous and management are awful but they are in such a bad position now that they are being forced into action that should actually benefit shareholders by unlocking value they clearly didn’t seem capable of doing themselves otherwise.

Good summary Chief but I don't think you are wrong, as to me the reduction of over £100m in available debt facilities (rising to a £200m reduction in less than a year if the term loan is repaid rather than extended) suggests to me there are strings attached including raising cash by selling parts of the business, getting external investment in it or the sale and leaseback of head office - or probably a combination thereof. Otherwise it's hard to see how just £125m is enough by way of financing - the results are so poor that they will need an injection of cash from somewhere to keep them afloat so likely getting some form of injection was part of the conditions.

It doesn't matter to me though whether they were forced into it or not as I think the best chance of me getting out of this mess of a company with a profit is for them to sell bits as I have no confidence in them just turning the company around if they don't. So for me it's good news however it's come about so long as they unlock value with a decent sale.

Yes Ian there was some guidance but much more vague than usual. Even then I expect them to be less bullish about GMV and FCF and no longer expecting a positive for either this year.

Not the case. For the last two years guidance has been lowered when the interims were released, not before. In any event there isn't much by way of guidance this time around so little to warn about anyway.

Bhants - Not with HL but I used a valuation that had other holdings on and just redacted the bits I didn't want them to see (can do this by either 'painting' over a screenprint using colouring in tools or old school by printing the page, scribbling out bits and then taking a photo). Uploading the result is then easy on stockperks.

Look at the disclaimer notice though at the top:

Given the slow but steady rate they have been reducing by recently I think they still hold some and may take a week or so to close it completely (which it certainly looks like they are aiming to do). We won't know for sure if they do close, though the pattern of trades will be a clue i.e. as long as the pattern of chunky buys of similar sizes continues it probably means there is still some to clear.
