This share has an unusual number of posters that want to talk about anything apart from any detail on QBT. There are surely better platforms to go on if you just want to get angry with people?

Personally I disagree. What irritates me most is posters that can't construct proper sentences so fill their posts with '.....' instead. Reg is the master of it but you have a tendency for it too and looking at your history you never seem to post anything meaningful about QBT, just snide remarks at other posters and vacuous one-liners. So another time-waster for the green bin and fewer ..... to look at too :-)

Dracula - Scottwins is Jambone (and many other previously banned aliases) and so has been here a lot longer than a month - not much changing their tactics in all that time (rehash stuff multiple times, twist RNS to suggest more than they actually do, compare randomly to other stocks that have rocketed and going on endlessly about MMs and shorters whilst citing certain trading activity as 'proof' of their nefarious games).

Better just to ignore their inanities or filter.

Apologies Phimx - I think it is the notification that needs to be public at 0.5%, not the share. So they may need to notify at 0.2% - but not to us. So either way we'll only be able to see if there is a short if it is over 0.5%.

Just a reminder Jambone that I do own shares here and unlike most others (like Reg and his £20k) have proved it - but carry on with the conspiracy theories by all means.

Phimx - I believe it is 0.5% for a public share (like QBT) and 0.2% for a private share.

You obviously haven't read the posts today properly. Anybody is entitled to speculate but where it turns into drivel is where the speculation is stated as fact - as it was by both Reg and Asterix.

The only fact is that there are no declared shorts over 0.5%. Of course dark arts can, as you say, get round this but that is pure guesswork for QBT. And I agree big players may be interested in QBT - but as a potential investment. I cannot see what they would gain by shorting it as the numbers are just too small for what would be a sizeable risk. Makes no sense to me but of course I could be wrong - there is no evidence though that I am.

No it is not. It depends on whether their tech really works or not which is the great unknown here and is exactly what people are taking bets on.

No it is not. There is no hard evidence of this (just speculation - the £50k investments and other big trades for example could be for any number of reasons). The only hard evidence is that there have been no declared shorts since GSA fell below the minimum reporting threshold of 0.5% nearly eight months ago.

Fair enough, choose who you believe is spouting the drivel - it's entirely up to you. The absence of significant hedge fund shorting is a fact though, that you could easily see for yourself with just a little research.

I'm sorry but comments like "where the large hedge funds move in quickly, closing out their short positions and flipping the market dynamics" is a perfect example of 'unfounded drivel' based on 'personal opinion' rather than 'quite knowledge opinion'. There hasn't been a short of any significance here for many months (certainly nothing above 0.5% or £75,000 as is clearly shown) let alone from major hedge funds looking to change position. Why would they be interested shorting such small-fry anyway, everything to lose and so little to gain?

This is just another penny stock that could have something, in which case it rockets, or not, in which case it eventually folds. Typical AIM and most don't make it but this may just be one them that does, who knows? But all this nonsense about fantasy shorts, claiming what results 'must' be without any evidence and daily, idle speculation on individual trades is just ignorance and noise, nothing more.
