They actually made a loss in FY2022 and under no other profitability metric (GM, EBITDA, Adjusted PBT etc.) was it their most profitable year. Perhaps you were looking at the 'Bfd adjusted profitability' metric. If so could you please publish it for us all to see so that we can all talk from the same page in future.

Yes, he is for real. You may want to check your statement as it is demonstrably false. Their most profitable year was FY2021 which in calendar year terms is basically 2020.

That's what he is saying but he hasn't proved it. Just looked at the UK only Gross Margin (excluding Debs MP) and that also shows a decline over the last few years. That suggests there may well have been an impact and certainly shows that Bfd hasn't proved that there hasn't been one.

They have the option to BUY at 5p (or 10p). At the moment they have NO shares, just the options to buy shares. They can’t redeem at less than that because they don’t have any shares to redeem.

IF the shares go above 5p (or 10p) then they can buy at this fixed price then immediately sell for a profit.

It’s just an added bonus/incentive which at the moment is pretty worthless but they have not lost anything.

The numbers they gave out were final numbers. They knew enough to put them into a close period and anyway were within the sixty days when they were expected to report. Also NDAs don’t drive anything in the accounts just what you can’t talk about that it is specifically covered by the NDA.

The accounts are being dragged out and so the close period is too. It’s that simple. For once can’t you just hold your hand up, say sorry and admit you don’t have any idea what you are talking about rather than keep trying to find some kind of angle just so you can try (but fail) to save a little bit of face.

No, it can’t. A close period is for close - the clue is in the word. The time period can vary but it is usually two months, however it also comes into effect after the company knows its own results and it was well over three months ago (March 11th) when they gave the year end headlines so they will have been in a close period since at least then.

The reason it has been so long is simply because they’ve delayed publishing the results for so long since they completed them and they can’t release sensitive stuff ahead of those results regardless of any NDA.

They are in a close period as they are releasing results soon, that is what it means and it applies to all companies ahead of releasing results.
