£19m? This was indeed the total mining revenue for last year but this year it is already £30m before July’s figures. So picture looks even better though 20x revenue for fair mcap seems very aggressive.

I agree it’s an excellent long term play. It’s volatility also makes it an ideal trading stock. Money can be made (and lost) both ways.

Good question but one I don't think is easy to answer.

Too many unknowns. How much are those extra earnings likely to be? How much is the overall cost going to be to get them? How will that cost be funded and how much of it has been already? How much will the fund raise be as part of the proposed dual listing and how much of this will be for Texas?

To add to this the Texas development is clearly more than just new rigs and its development will be in stages so scope and timing also unclear.

So until more detail is known I think it is more about perception and sentiment. For me it is an exciting, and probably critical step in ARBs journey that will ultimately propel the SP much higher but I think it is impossible to say if and when the market will come to the same conclusion, or even start to, without there being at least some more flesh on the bones.

No worries but actually I wasn't going to say anything, or had even noticed it, until Muscles tried to turn your typo into a ramping accusation (maybe you've filtered him and didn't see it)? I honestly don't sit here with a 'red pen' checking numbers for fun, I'm just keen that good information is on this board and not misleading information (which, oddly Muscles also said - so agree with him there). Your typo made no difference to your message and so the typo was irrelevant.

I just try to be objective but that tends to upset both the rampers and the de-rampers :-)

Don't think K3 is ramping at all. Swap the 1268 for 2268 then get much the same answer and given ARBs expenses are so low I think the comparison is conservative i.e. that we are undervalued even more compared to MARA and RIOT.

Agree it could be but I hope it isn't as I think the sp will benefit much more from the management and plans they have in place than from a bid (especially starting from the current sp). Just my view though.

The short answer Jimmy is yes. However, they will behave in a similar way. For example if they are initially set up as three times the value of the UK shares (so one 3 UK shares = 1 US 'share') their value will more or less stay three times as high as UK shares or else this creates opportunity for arbitrage which will soon be closed. So in other words they should be seen as different but the same. It's just a common mechanism for allowing investment from US investors.

In this case it is new shares. An IPO or Initial Public Offering is exactly that i.e. the 'initial' part means it is the first time the shares are being offered to the public.

At the risk of being accused again of FUD this is a "dual listing AND IPO" so in this case it does not mean simply taking some stock from the UK and reselling it in the US. It means they are raising new capital and I believe this should be seen as positive to help them achieve their expansion plans as well of course to enjoy the extra benefits from a dual listing.

I agree Herdie. After the last few months which haven't been great (apart from the reduction in mining difficulty which IMO is not fully appreciated) today's RNS is great news.

It seems I'm being tarred with the FUD brush today as some are picking bits in what I say rather than the whole. So for clarity.

1) Again, the RNS is great news!
2) I believe the sp is way below where it should be. To me (as I've posted many times) ARBs revenues and profits suggest a much higher sp level but I believe sentiment around BTC is holding it back
3) The RNS mentions a proposed offering but says the size and the price of the offering is unknown. I don't see how anybody can see this as not being a dilution and nobody has provided a counterargument that it isn't except just screaming FUD
4) But anyway, raising new funds in the US is GOOD. More capital, more expansion and as I've already said I believe the benefits will outweigh significantly any dilution impact.

So everything is great and my only objection is that there are some who are adamant this is not dilution and to me this is ramping every bit as bad as those who just say "they're diluting you" which I agree Adele is FUD spreading at its worst.

Everup - It's not me saying the listing will bring dilution it is the RNS. Read it please. I am not a FUD spreader and if you believe I am then (as you are so often fond of saying yourself) answer a simple question.

How does "The number of ADSs to be offered and the price range for the Proposed Offering" not mean new shares will be issued. Do you think it is somehow existing shares at a discount or something that are not shares at all?

To reiterate I believe this is a good thing but if I am wrong about dilution than explain what I have misunderstood about the above quote in the RNS.

The RNS clearly states:

"The number of ADSs to be offered and the price range for the Proposed Offering".

So this is a dilution whatever you say but for the avoidance of doubt I believe this is good. ARB is expanding, it needs funds to expand and with BTC so low at the moment raising funds this way (or through loans) seems more preferable than selling BTC.

My point is that some are saying (IN CAPS) that this is not a dilution. It is. Like you I believe the benefits from the share raise (and dual listing) should more than offset, and significantly, the dilution impact but to suggest it is not a dilution at all is misleading especially when the terms of it are unknown.

Sadly that's true Flowerpot. Argo is a great company with a fantastic future and a share price which I believe doesn't reflect this - which is why I've happily topped up multiple times as the sp has slid. At the risk of ramping I think it's strong financials, expansion plans, now very probable dual listing and hopefully recovering BTC will bring it to multi-bagger territory within the next year or two.

However, those that can see no downside whatever are just as dangerous to new investors as the loathsome de-rampers this board attracts. To suggest today's positive announcement does not include a dilution is either ignorance or a wilful attempt to mislead.

This company is exceptional as it is - it does need to be hyped.

I think this is exciting news but how can you read it as not being a dilution? It is more shares for the same company albeit a separate set of shares at a different price (though that price will be aligned with LSE). So more total shares = dilution.

I topped up yesterday, and very glad I did as this is confirmation of the next step in Argo's journey but this does involve a 'dilution' and, while this is to be expected for growing companies, the terms of the offering will be important and as yet are unknown.
