Sorry Micky that's simply a ridiculous comment borne out of frustration. I assure you there will be backers who will gladly purchase a percentage of a product for tens of millions if they believe that said product will be worth many hundreds of millions over time.

Purple most if not all LTH's are cash strapped and after the latest placing heavily underwater. As I believe its a little early for a major pharmaceutical company to license or buy HG-CT-1 i assume people are waiting to see how Hemogenyx will fund getting from where they are to where they need to be, which is probably having 4/5 patients treated.

As there's no headroom to place again the funds needed will have to come from either a grant or most likely a VC. But due to the limited headroom they won't invest in Hemogenyx they'll invest in HG-CT-1 itself, taking a percentage ownership of the product candidate itself. I assume it'll be anywhere from a $5m to a $20m investment, probably on a phased basis allowing Hemogenyx to sell the product early and not drawing down on the additional phases, therefore owning more of the product when they do come to se it.

Just my take and maybe why people are waiting but if it is the reason people will obviously pay a lot more after funding is announced.

Pingu I agree. They're funded for 3/4 patients so they now have two choices.

Either they wait and get a major pharmaceutical company to Licence or buy HG-CT-1 or

They move quickly and sell a percentage of HG-CT-1 to a VC to fund the completion of Phase 1 trials, including pediatrics and the subset of ALL.

Either option is good by me but let's not forget what's really important from today's RNS, the first patient now has the chance to live, and that's priceless.

I managed to find out a little more on the Prevail Partners investors. It seems to me that Mary Schaheen has largely used her previous contracts from Canada. Prevail has New Brunswick Investments and Investments Quebec as well as Monte Carlo Capital. that basically consists of Angel investors.

It seems to me that Prevail consists of mainly high net worth individuals which would explain why Hemogenyx would look elsewhere for a tens of millions Investment and why their investors would be comfortable paying a premium price and are willing to wait for a return on their investment.

That's my take anyway.

As i understand it Mary Schaheen the President and CEO of Prevail is the driving force of both organisations and she actually set up Prevail Partners and certain directors are on both boards.

Although not named I believe both venture capital firms and large pharmaceutical companies are the main investors in Prevail Partners, both have their reasons for wanting the companies they invest in to succeed. Ploughing monies back into Infoworks actually assists the companies to succeed and complete trials quickly creating a win-win scenario.

Micky I agree with you mate. The SP is pathetic and it's very frustrating. But, investments can turn positive in the blink of an eye. Stay strong mate

Micky I'll say one more time, there is more to this trial than just proving its safe.

Secondary objectives include assessing the therapy's impact on the following clinical outcomes:

· Efficacy of HG-CT-1 based on AML-specific response criteria

· Overall survival (OS) rates among participating subjects

· Progression-free survival (PFS) in evaluable subjects

· Duration of response (DoR) in those who achieve clinical responses

These objectives are pivotal for assessing the overall clinical impact of HG-CT-1 on patients with R/R AML.

Boom you attack two large shareholders in Kingpin and Haywain whilst referring to Vlad as corrupt and scamming investors. But in answer to your question, yes I trust Vlad in that Hemogenyx have developed a viable cure for AML sufferers, and that it will be equally applicable for pediatrics AML and a subset of ALL.

If I'm right it will be extremely valuable to major pharmaceutical companies and the lowly SP will be a thing of the past. Judging by your attacks on shareholders and the BOD you must think I'm wrong and if that's the case, just invest in something else.

Well I didn't want to just take Haywain's word for it so I did check with another scientist. He was actually as confident as Haywain, if not more so.

His name was Vlad..and that'll do for me.

Purple I wouldn't advise anyone to put everything on one share but like Mr I I'm confident Hemogenyx will demonstrate both safety and efficacy in due course, starting with patient one initial results on Monday.

But, with the BOD demonstrating complete ineptitude on financing the company, time after time, it's a very long way back for most holders.

On the plus side it's a fabulous entry point for others and the next funding package Hemogenyx choose to get them through Phase 1 trials simply has to be right, and I believe it will be.

By the end of Q2 I expect Hemogenyx to be fully funded for the next 12 months and to have a product candidate for RR AML the demonstrates both safety and efficacy.

Time will tell.

I think it's s major positive that patient one has come through the 28 day period as mandated by the FDA without incident, demonstrating its safety. This is obviously reflected in the fact the hospital were happy to proceed with patient two, who I think will be infused next week.

Maybe a bit too early for major pharmaceutical companies to get involved but that doesn't preclude other avenues of finance, so likely a VC will take a stake in HG-CT-1 itself. £20m+ for a percentage ownership would be a win-win, especially if Hemogenyx can demonstrate efficacy.

Personally I think people should really read what Haywain is posting.

I've stated countless times I think the trial will be successful, they'll secure a multi million pound investment next quarter and the SP will be many multiples of today's price.

You either believe or you don't.

As the last RNS stated, the hospital were the ones to decide whether to proceed with patient two, and that was wholly dependent on there being a 'satisfactory outcome' on the initial results from patient one.

Today's RNS not only substantially derisked our investment but in my view it looks very much as though Hemogenyx do indeed have a life saving therapy on their hands. Early days but extremely promising.

Pension over the next 1-3 months I believe that the data Hemogenyx release from the initial patients who have been infused with HG-CT-1 will be highly encouraging, both in safety and efficacy. From 3-6 months I believe we'll see a substantial investment in HG-CT-1 and that investment will come from either a major in a licencing deal or from a VC taking a percentage ownership of the product. Either option will lead to the clinical trial being fully funded, in my opinion.

Should the results be as positive as I expect I would also hope the FDA would allow multiple patients to be treated at the same time, allowing Penn to become the second hospital involved and an extension to pediatrics and the subset of ALL. Coupled with the 24 hour manufacturing with kure.ai that Hemogenyx are working on it makes HG-CT-1 potentially a very valuable product..

As for the SP, especially when they reach the six month review stage for each patient, if they are indeed positive you have to look at Hemogenyx having a Mcap well in excess of £100m, maybe double that so the SP should be trading a lot higher although I wouldn't like to put a figure on it.

That's my personal belief, my hope and expectation and I know that's the expectation of Vlad and the team of scientists as well.

Until we know results the investment carries a lot of risk but the rewards are absolutely monumental to both shareholders and Hemogenyx if HG-CT-1 works.

Pension after the first 4 patients Hemogenyx can move towards treating a patient every 2 weeks. However once the FDA has seen the initial data they can authorise Hemogenyx to treat multiple patients at the same time should they believe it's a breakthrough therapy.

For those talking about another placement, there won't be and more importantly there can't be as Hemogenyx have no more headroom to place again.

The data from the first 3 or 4 patients will almost certainly mean Hemogenyx will license or sell a percentage of HG-CT-1 in exchange for funding it through the trials, in my opinion anyway.
