From my understanding, they don't want to put out a trading update atm as it may not reflect accurately what is going on in the business i.e. contracts under discussion.

As they have stated in the past, we will only hear about it when it lands. No more teasers, MOUs, LOIs etc. A bit like the tech contract that came out of nowhere.

Clearly the Iranian contract is getting topped and tailed and they have had high hopes of RNSing another MSC style contract by the end of the year. This has been stated several times. Wkat' the point of putting out a trading statement until they are in a position to talk in a concrete way about these new contracts?

Ok, I listened to the investor Q&A and the various issues were well explained.

The key thing here is they are going to smash their ambitions to beat 3000 bond by the end of this drill campaign. Looks like they will exit the year at 3500-4200 and will be knocking out $4million of free cash per month. They could have $30million cash war chest by the end of Hi 2019.

I'm expecting some corporate news re the new asset they bought in Argentina, PL was very cagey about it in the Malcy interview. I think something big will happen there aka AMER recent farm out. No idea about Paraguay, they could well end up bearing the risk there but as they will be knocking out $4million per month...so what!

PL is a smart man, clearly something of a chancer but his track record is excellent, his deal making is good and he has put a lot of his own money into this company. Looks like it is turning into a cash cow with loads of upside

This is heading for an exit rate circa 4000 bopd. At $35 net back, that is over $4million free cash flow per month. Company looks very cheap, I bought a couple of wedges today at 9.55p. Lots of news flow to come, I'll see where we at the end of January and re-assess.

They are not going to.

They would need to get an outside agency to do it, it would cost money, Tullow and Total don't need it, only ECO as it is a minnow. Every drill in the region outdates the CPR. Exxon will have 3 drill ships at work through 2019. The next CPR would be outdated instantly. Maybe in a couple of years when there have been some discoveries and appraisals. What they have is a good basis to work from. They weave in all the info. they are getting from the Exxon drills, updating prospects COS, new plays opening up etc.
Remember Exxon drilled Hammerhead based on the 3D ECO gave them; It was in everyones' interests. They will continue to cooperate. Proper companies following modern practises and compliance. So much easier, there is clearly plenty to go round.

Exxon are going to appraise Hammerhead in 2019. They have already stated this. Let Exxon do the work and spend the money , makes sense

FWIW, Total or Exxon are our natural buyout partners. They are both in Guyana and both re trying to build acreage positions in Namibia. I don't think either of them will try and buy ECO until after oil is discovered. I don't think ECO want to sell either
