He also said in that interview that the last bit of data would be handed over to Total in the next couple of weeks. The interview was in February, we are now nearly in August. Very difficult to take at face value what Gil says re. time scales or costs. I just wish they would be realistic with time and numbers. This is a fine E&P company with awesome prospects. There is no need for bulkaka. It is irritating and just means you have to add your own filters on to what they say.

I find the CULN bizarre. They should not need any cash atm yet they raise a tiny 190k in dollars for 'corporate development costs'. Is this to meet the extra bucks needed to fulfil changes to banking and suppliers or just for everyday running costs?

TBH Maverick I think it is largely priced in. You may get 10-15% rise from it.

I don't like the farm in, never liked the deal. I wanted them to process the 3D and then open up the data room to potential farminees. I think they would have got a much better deal. They had cash, Exxon was discovering endless oil next door and the oil price was in recovery. I think they went too early, getting seduced by the attentions of a 'MAJOR'.

I think we will see the EU's plans within a week or so. I believe that what the Austrians are doing is typical of the banking plans. Iranian investment into a financial institution or two, a couple of banks nominated and protected and all EU companies wanting to do business with Iran channeling payments via these instruments. You do if you look back at historical margins on tech contracts. Smaller contracts had tighter margins, larger contracts higher margins. It is all there in the results if you do a little bit of due diligence. We have been told multiple times that the vast majority of the contract will be delivered this year. Cash burn last year, once the boat fiasco is taken out is about 50k per month. Their cash position post the 22p fund raising is fairly simple to work out. Lunghi growth has been excellent. They will be EBITDA positive for the year. There is no need for cash.

I suspect they are back in a closed period. We were told at the AGM that it would take one phone call requesting to progress/have a meeting to discuss progress from one of their multiple MOUs to put them back in a closed period. I do not know but it could well have happened

Looks promising!

Guyana is definitely the most prospective at the moment but Namibia will be massive one day. With all the new major farm ins there, with all the drilling campaigns starting, someone will strike oil and the whole basin will open up aka Guyana. ECO has vast acreage there. Huge potential resources. Bit by bit, Guy and the others will get farmed down for drilling campaigns. It will take a few years but I think it will happen.

And what of our partnership with Africa Oil; New ventures cannot be far away.

is waiting on what concrete steps the rest of its deal partners will offer. If they are derisory they will pull out of the JCPOA. I think the EU will put in place some mechanisms to facilitate trade re. banking and legal protections. They will dream up some schemes to finesse payments. I think there will be enough on the table to keep Iran in the JCPOA. When have they ever had the moral high ground in World diplomacy, a great opportunity .
