Am waiting to hear from Laks... Dow down, $ down, gold up. My understanding was if the dollar falls, they buy gold so it goes up.... Laks is usually right but predicts a $900 gold price at the end of all this - how do we get to that ? A weak dolar surely means a rising gold price which is actually good for us.

Yes it seems the jury is out on gold - and the company future guidance is positive. I think this drop is a massive show of newfound distrust - and if gold rockets, that wil be irrelevent - so at some point this should be a great buying opportunity. SPGP down on Friday evening so no rush yet.

Thinking positively, now on the loud noise about q3, top-up, slow recovery on q4 comments, disappointing non farm payroll, up goes gold, finish in the blue. Nothing would surprise me.
