Lomax, if you reckon that DRC is a cesspit and that RRR should forget about it and the money, why do you keep going on about it?
The point about Ivanhoe's timeline is that it shows stellar results can be had, same with Glencore and others. If you are a mining company and you want high value licences in copper and cobalt then you need to be in DRC. Similarly, with lithium in the South East: it appears that there are huge deposits of lithium in the South East. I know of one gold project where there is probably 27mil oz of gold (Adidi-Kanga), there is a JORC for about 3.6mil oz. That is the one that Jason Brewer and Vector Resources made a dog's dinner of in their JV with Guy Robert Lukama.
Very decent licences are to be had in DRC and it is difficult to operate in but likely it is slowly improving. For instance, the first Presidential Arbitration was settled a couple of weeks ago.
