Everyone seems very keen on an RNS - but surely one of the objectives of issuing a timely RNS would be to settle down the markets and reduce volatility. This may actually reduce the SP if it fails to meet the very high aspirations of some shareholders looking for short term gains.

However, unless ofcourse the RNS is requred to update the market on something such as a takeover
