There are now in fact three sets of hedges that apply to the Jul-Sep 2024 period at varying prices, as per Note 11 of the half-year report. These total 7,430 million therms for the quarter, or c. 2,475 m therms a month.

I don't think one needs to be "clever" in order to work out what's going on (or not) with Amit and Cloudtag.

You're making a number of ery large assumptions, namely:-

1. that Amit has been in contact with an agent... any agent

2. that there has been a sale... any sale... of Cloudtag assets

3. that Cloudtag had assets... any assets... of value ...any value... to sell in the first place,

I gauge that at least two (and almost certainly all three) of those assumptions are e timely without foundation.

Rather than achieving the trebling needed for that ridiculous prophesy to come true, the SP has actually lost 40%. I'd suggest just a smidgeon of caution when listening to this investing genius.

Unfortunately that's utterly incorrect.

Todays' interims results RNS states:-

"The existing hedge contract was replaced with a gas offtake, with embedded price protection."

As has been pointed out by those who actually bother to take note of details, we have no information at all on the length of that offtake agreement, nor any monthly production quantity criteria in there, nor any pricing in there.

Mentioning previous hedge arrangements at this stage is a total irrelevance. Nobody outside the company knows anything at all about the detail of what ANGS had to sign up to with Trafigura. (And I am surprised at this - the nature of those terms strikes me as very much material information that ANGS is obligated to report).

Just under 17 hours to go until the alleged agent's details will allegedly be made public by Amit.

So that'd be Monday morning (US time) for paper cert holders to be contacted, according to this latest in an interminable and ever-missed series of assurances and deadlines.

Of course, he doesn't mention contacting brokers (which could have been done months ago). They've been kicked into the long grass, while he's been hiding behind 'share book anomalies' with regard to paper certificate holders.

As Adrian in the latest of his innumerable incarnations knows but deliberately ignores, there's a massively stark difference between being anti liars, cheats, conmen and incompetents... and being anti fossil fuels.

I did watch it, TC. We have next to no details on the new hedging arrangements. What are the monthly volumes? What are the fixed monthly prices? And as OofyProsser also points out, separately but related, what are the terms of the Trafigura offtake agreement?

Those are all material matters that should have been made public.
