Precisely BV. Which is what I'e been maintaining for months. In my very firm opinion this SP is now stuck in the doldrums until Q1 2022 at the earliest, at which point we *may* get news of first gas and jst as if not more crucially, if recoverable volumes are commercially viable.

The market has priced in its quite justifiable cynicism on all things ANGS and only independently verified news from Poundland is going to change that. All the endlessly copy n pasted BS and all the equally worthless p;uff interviews and presentations from George on "possible futures" are having precisely no effect at all.

On the upside for genuine holders, I can't see the SP moving down much from current levels either, because non-delivery is already priced in.

(That is, unless say a non-board director who is bizarrely still employed on a fair whack "accidentally" lends his entire shareholdings to some Eastern European blonde he's just met on Tindr. You never know with ANGS...)

Whereas I notice that Lucky Strike can't even tell us if he's invested? All he can do is endlessly spam the bulletin board with copy n pasted RNS extracts.

Why is that? What's the agenda?

"Okay we should be here... but we're not. So why not? What is the market thinking that I'm not?"

Sorry??? Could you point out one annual report showing that UKOG has "lived within its means"? The briefest of looks at audited and filed information will show anyone the following:-

FY 2017: £2.27 million pre-tax loss.
FY 2018: £16.75 million pre-tax loss.
FY 2019: £5.39 million pre-tax loss.
FY 2020: £20.94 million pre-tax loss.

Hardly "living within its means"... could we at least try to be vaguely truthful?

Since Day One, UKOG has lived on raising funds from the market and debt - that's by far and away the primary source of its "income". This may be something that people are happy with in the hope of some future return...

...but UKOG has never once lived and is still categorically not living "within its means". To maintain otherwise is both trite and farcical.

It gives a very justifiable alternate view on things... and it also has the benefit of only needing to be a single line post, compared to the never-ending reams of regurgitation.

Do not get me started on English grammar (or the lack of it) or on "Murcanisms".

Modal verbs ("shall/should", "will/would" etc) invariably take a following infinitive. In this case/tense, the perfect infinitive "(to) have done" is of course correct.

The immediately relevant questions that any investor or potential investor needs to ask themselves are these:-

Does UKOG need to raise more cash via a placing to meet its financial contractual commitments, before drilling can start in Turkey?

If so, at what price and for how many new shares will said placing be?

And when will the placing come?

Anything else is at this stage pretty much irrelevant speculation as to possible futures later down the line. First things first.

That's the thing though, isn't it? What's a "good update"?

I know what very obviously isn't a "good update"... and that's George trying to talk up the company with a load of substance-free puff and spin. He's tried that three times in as many months and it's achieved absolutely nothing. What's that famous definition of insanity? Doing exactly the same thing over and over again, but expecting a different result?

I maintain that a concrete update - i.e. Poundland being got to first gas (presuming it can be) and production volumes of said gas being independently verified as commercially viable (presuming they can be) - are the only things that will now positively affect the ANGS SP. The market's very clearly not impressed in any way at all by any airyfairy talk of possible future rainbows, as George has conclusively proven three times now.

So... Q1 2022 for me at the earliest. That's the first opportunity of getting hard real-world data (rather than nebulous company spin) on which way Poundland's liable to go. And depending on what that shows, the SP will react accordingly. IMO we're inevitably stuck in the doldrums till then.
