The only concerted attempt to get PIs to do something has been you and your cronies' endless efforts right up until close of trading to buy into UKOG. Hopefully very few believed a word you uttered.

What was it from you in the 5 weeks you've been around? 240 post on UKOG? 20 a day the entirety of last week? Posts of rockets? Endless copy n paste predictions of an imminent multi-bagger to be had here?

Again, seriously don't get excited by the UKOG board's commitment to buy shares under the announced DDSPP. The plublicly stated terms of that only commit the directors to buying a max value of £2,800 worth of UKOG shares BETWEEN THEM each month (and probably substantially less).

Even if they do stick by that, it's so minuscule as to mean absolutely nothing.

Mr. I's post below details the nigh on perfect and indeed only strategy to make money out of smallcap AIM oilers like UKOG and ANGS (as those like Skwizz already clearly know). It is an informed and exactly precise description of the stages in the eternally repeated cycle that such companies are always in.

The one guaranteed thing IMO about such lifestyle companies as UKOG and SANGS is that they should categorically never be considered as a long-term hold.

Actually the other guaranteed thing IMO is that short-term traders don't need to do any ramping. The companies and their paid shills themselves will do all that for you. Every time.

Strange lack of appearance this morning from the crop of new ID cheerleaders. You know the ones... they all suddenly appeared over the last couple of weeks under "new " IDs and were incredibly prolific with their posts... "11p on the way!", "Ten bagger minimum!", "Don't listen to the evil troll shorters!" and so on... plus lots of endless copy n pastes of company spin and a fair few rubbish text art rockets. I wonder why they're absent this morning?

And some genuine longterm holders thought they were their heroes, defending their share from the "wicked trolls"... it's as tragic as it is bitterly laughable.

Ocelot says this has been "professionally done"... I completely agree. It's an absolutely classic example of the usual AIM pump and dump.

Lots of new bulletin board IDs suddenly appearing a couple of weeks to post ridiculous and of course unsupportable claims like "11p coming!" and "At least a ten bagger on the way!", all also doing their best to insult, discredit and drown out those with more experienced and thus more wary opinions... yes, that's professional. In as much as they will have been paid to do so. I wonder how many will now ever be seen again? (Under those names anyway).

Here's hoping no new PIs got suckered in by the coordinated ramp. Here's also hoping that no existing PIs got misled into buying more shares during the artificial and quite deliberate pump, because any existing PI is now about to get the chance to buy at 0.18p.

However as has been pointed out, all directors' purchases, sales or transfer of shares are mandatorily notifiable, so it'll hardly be a secret.

As to board ownership of shares prior to the miniscule DDSPP kicking in, no current director has bought shares, while a director. Three including Sando own precisely none and the fourth, Morzaria, owns about 4.5 million shares (about £10 grands' worth at today's price). However it's clear from notifiable information that he owned those prior to becoming a director in Oct 15.

Ozzy I can guarantee you that I currently hold more UKOG shares than the entire board of directors do.

Ozzy, do the numbers yourself if you must. It irks me when clueless cheerleaders brandish something like the DDSPP like its big news. I'm merely factually quantifying it... £2,800 per month absolute max, as per the stated terms. Check it yourself, if you wish.

Actually that £2,800 directors' share puchase (if it's that much and takes place) will in fact be £2,800 more than the directors have ever bought before.

Well, all you'll need to do is look for four purchases that between them amount to an absolute maximum value of £2,800.

Because if the directors stick to the commitment made and informed, that is the absolute maximum monthly level that the UKOG board under the DDSPP has committed to. In total.

Work it out for yourself... take the 4 salaries that are a matter of public record (total around £510k per annum from memory), take off the four sets of tax and NI (because the commitment is based on net montlhly salaries - there are plenty of online take home pay calculator websites)...

...and you'll end up with combined net monthly salary total of about £28k (presuming that no personal pension contribution are being made by any director, which would then further reduce that figure).

Disagree. It's probable that Poundland will be got to first gas, though it's not yet at all clear when this may be achieved. The latest in a series of estimates from George stated a hope for right at the very end of this year, but as all longterm holders are painfully aware, George doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to the accuracy of his forecasts.

But actually getting Poundland to first gas, although obviously essential, is not the important thing. The key of the matter is actually what volumes the field can be made to produce. What are these going to be? Is a sidetrack going to be necessary to provide the revenues to service already committed to finance charges? If so, will sidetracks be successful?

None of that's going to become clear until well into 2022 and as it's all crucial to ANGS's continued existence, I don't think we're going to see anything like your hoped for share price until then, RK... and even then, only if everything goes ANGS's way.

If UKOG's been mining for oil all this time, that probably explains its tiny revenues/

If Directors are buying, that requires disclosure, so we'll know when they do.

Separately, it's possibly not worth getting too over-excited at the UKOG directors' DDSPP. in terms of their "locked-in" commitment to buy, that is stated as being between 5 to 10% of nett salary per month.

Thirty seconds of working the numbers out shows that nett commitment only amounts to somewhere between £1,400 to £2,800 of shares per month that the UKOG board has actually committed to buying - in total and between them - from July. Not even three grands' worth at the absolute topside between them.

If they do not exceed that commitment, that's really not going to change the price of cocoa now, is it?

He's busy ramping UKOG. Currently that's an easier task for day traders looking to make a few percentage points out of the more naive with a quick in and out.

LS as you well know it is impossible to effectively short UKOG, even on Spreadex.

The only "rats" here are those who are pretending to be genuine long-term holders and oh so manfully defending UKOG from the "evil trolls and shorters", when all they're actually doing is very short-term trading and doing their level best to rope-a-dope the more naive and leave them to catch the falling knife.

What I find most noteworthy about the 1/2 year figures is the change in reported asset values.

Okay, the ludicrous £17.4 million of "goodwill" has been entirely reversed out, which is only right and proper.

However the 2021 1/2 years show £25.6 million of asset value in Exploration assets and £6.8 million in O&G properties, for a total of £32.4 million.

The 2020 1/2 year figures show £34.0 million plus £1.4 million respectively for a total of £36.4 million.
