I have not lost faith but I am of the view that cpx is too small to move forward in the direction it wants. A market cap of £20m is immediately a red flag to an automotive giant. The ARM model is one which now looks unachievable ...so agree the best way might be to sell up at an opportune time. Once thought this was a potential £1 a share company. No longer ...might see north of 20p with some decent news.

What is your theory as to why AK fails to promote the company? Is it to allow iii's to get cheap stock. What interest can he have in not wanting the sp higher?

Yes that is the frustration -there is so much going on and yet Kongats seems unable to garner any of it. Maybe a new sales force is needed. ? Why do the other supercap companies seem to win business and yet this one doesn't. Maybe the ceo spends too much time dreaming.

Yes this is trying the patience of most. If AK can't secure deals he must think about selling up as the way to make a pile for himself before he spends his time on the beach. Maybe he does already spend most of his time on the beach?

There is a whole raft of articles about electric cars ..even stuff on BBC. Audi to develop all electric car/world's fastest car. Hope cpx is still active in this field ..been along time since heard about this as the focus now more on thinline.

That's an intriguing post DTM. What could be the reason for not promoting the company?. A low valuation might make it vulnerable to an opportunistic bidder. An earlier post mentioned that CPX was not considered for some auto business as it was too small. If AK ever wants to sell his own stake is worth much less. The only thing I can think of is to allow instits to build at advantageous prices.

Got to suspect that this tidying RNS is linked to the legal stuff pending...not giving anything to the other side which they might use.

Probably get RNS next week announcing date of interims..so much excitement!

Yes those posts sum it up. It could be argued that AK is not doing himself any favours by this omerta. If you are on AIM you should try and keep investors informed of what is going on. This will simply rinse and repeat otherwise.

Nice post..agree. AK has to be careful since endless procrastination and an unwillingness to promote the share could backfire. With more ii's onboard they might be willing to take a 50% premium to the current sp. Ergo a knockout bid at 12-13p whereas we all know it's worth much more than that. What I'm saying is that it must be in AK's interest to have a higher sp-surely.

What is a tad difficult to understand is that there is a well known method of boosting the sp on AIM and that is to keep the punters interested. I'm sure AK could come up with more than he does in terms of news but he chooses not to. Let's suppose that the ceo was say Ricketts out of Versarien then we would get weekly news and daily tweets. Maybe just different styles.

I expect 3V sales to crank up from the middle of this year. Main use will be IOT wireless sensor and wearables markets. It will work well in tandem with a lithium ion battery or energy harvester. Offers significant advantages such as reduced power system costs and extended battery life . It might find a use in automotive eg smart locks/keys.Have no idea if the likes of Murata are talking to phone companies about potential usage.

Yes I could have told you that 10 years ago. This was at one point in the dim past seen to be a potentially huge market for supercaps. Size is no longer an issue though battery performance has improved dramatically. But I agree that a supercap in parallel would be something new. Wonder if any talks/tests are still ongoing.?

Yes it did get to 17p but I would have thought the company is now more advanced than it was then. It seems that on AIM the share always drifts south after news. Maybe VRS is a slight exception as the backers there remain starry eyed.

Got to agree. There is plenty going on here except sales to bring the company to profit which would finally underpin a valuation. AK should give serious thought to selling the company as it needs more resource than he can throw at it to be fully successful.I'm sure he has had plenty of offers.
