Was looking at Northern Bear plc this morning. Out of the blue Canadian outfit announces a tender offer for a short 30% of the shares at a significant premium. NB is a company which failed to promote itself..this must a danger for Kongats and his policy of saying nothing and not promoting the company. Surely the shares are worth more than 4p?

Might these patents explain the slow take up...if only cpx is supplying into the areas where the patent protection is strongest?

All this legal stuff must be a huge distraction and a poor use of management time. There are also considerable costs prior to the cases being determined.Equally cannot blame management.
Wonder if going for Tesla is not rather flagging up a discreet for sale sign?!

Yes agree this is becoming a farce...still if AK refuses to communicate then it is difficult to force his hand.

Interesting views TD. I'm sure others have thought on similar lines. The company needs to have a commercial edge and focus on selling. So hopefully the IIs will not allow AK to drift along in the same way for much longer. Was it 8.5p for the last raise? Got to hope this Rannalli can get some business going.

Well clearly no one is a happy camper at these levels. Think AK should sell the company for 20p per share. Haha. Reminds me of the early days when folk were forecasting what the share price might be the year end. 20p/50p/100p. Obviously all fantasy.

Maybe something has happened to Kongats and he has lost the ability to communicate?

Im sure the new European man would be interested in this development. He can then inform Kongats that he might be able to win some business in the automotive world.

Suspect these thoughts have crossed many folks thought tracks. For a different approach the obvious eg is VRS where Ricketts undertakes huge promotion of the company on every possible occasion eg opening an envelope is given an RNS.
There again he talks about Chinese companies buying in so he needs the sp to be as high as possible.
On the' negative' side AK is paid well enough to continue on this tack for years but it must **** off other employees who don't have his nil cost shares.
He must be able to convince the growing number of IIs that it will all come good one day and it's just a matter of waiting.
Equally the lack of promotion suggests he is not doing a raise anytime soon.
Still I find the lack of news slightly concerning.

Well the instits who bought into the last Placing must be pretty unhappy. No doubt they are able to contact AK for 'reassurance'...ie they don't have to suffer the endless silence.
Thinking aloud...if Murata is withdrawing from supercaps then what happens to all the kit that they have to produce them? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick here?

I have no answer..it is truly a mystery why AK fails to promote the company. Maybe playing the long game? Completely different from say Ricketts out of Versarien who promotes his company 20 hrs a day.

This looks a bit like LWB. Once it is clear that the company is not going under then it should rise. Trouble is I don't think the market believes the company is out of the woods yet.

Price changes here are crazy....near top of loser board to near top of leader board.

Definitely need to get broker sorted ..who can then crack on with a note. Otherwise the company too small for other houses to bother with. But when you are paying you can ask the broking shop for a note to be produced. Needs to be a place with a good pharma team. Not sure about Libertum's to be honest. Others in the frame might be FinnCaps and Numis. Would be great if it was a global player with reach to US institutions!

That's the key..have not seen any figures. Might even have been sold at mates' rates........who knows.
