I wonder how the meeting will go on Wednesday, I received a reply from St Brides today, this is the first time Kibo has presented in London since April 2017.

There is very little stock out there now, the fall from 3p was on very low volumes, more sector related than company related (most juniors were down 50%+ last year)

I anticipate a rise back through 1p and on-to 1.5p quickly, a number of chart 'breakouts' have occurred

Would not be surprised to see momentum take this back to 2p by mid February, that could be exceeded dependent on news.

The key is most long term holders are in way above 2p so there should not be many major sellers on the way back up.

I also note that, according to the website, Ascent is not attending the UK Investor Show in late March, they have attended the last 3 shows.

May be a bit early to draw conclusions but one could imply that Colin will remain below radar (in hiding?) until there is some scrap of good news to promote.

Over the weekend I emailed Yellow Jersey, most politely, asking them to see if they could arrange another shareholder event like the one they held in March. I have not received any reply not even an acknowledgement.

I note others have requested some form of shareholder communication, such as a conference call or a BRR live media event where shareholders can ask questions.

It seems the company (Colin Hutchinson) does not want to face shareholders at this time. I find this totally unacceptable but not surprising.

Not a bad venue, a large pub just off Bank station, the event will be upstairs.

The sector is recovering some of the massive losses of last year, green shoots are appearing.

Make no mistake this Co is on many peoples radars, volumes are still low but, importantly, the fall from 3.25p was also on low volume.

I think Colin Bird will want to deliver some decent news by the time of the UK Investor Show which this year is in late March.

I think this could recover quickly, a number of sector related stocks have doubled in a matter of days recently, XTR could easily be the next - more-so as news is expected on a number of fronts.

Notice period is very short, people need decent advanced warning, I wonder how well attended it will be?

It looks like, as many here suspected, the re-financing package will complete very shortly. The feature on the Winnifrith's site seems quite specific and not without foundation.

My view is by the end of this week even without news the shares will be trading above 2p, with the right RNS, = finance/production update positive 3p-4p cannot be ruled out.

Traders buying in for the next speculation spike, it will happen make no mistake, at some point this will be go back to .50p -.60p bid.

Now if permits drop or a plan to re-stimulate the wells economically comes out could go higher still.

I can see this moving through 2p very quickly now - it looks nigh certain the re-financing will be completed, even at 2p the company would only be valued at £40m

The last director buy was above 4p last March/April - over £100k of shares I believe.

Shares remain tightly held.

I estimate that Henderson made around £8m-£10m out of Ascent via those convertible notes priced at 1p - basically they converted at 1p and sold most around or above 2p.

This claim was not challenged by Carver at the shareholder meeting in March, although he looked rather uncomfortable when the matter was raised.

Basically Henderson's are the only major winners with Ascent, no surprise, as soon as they were out the share price started it's plummet.

Now retail investors, many of whom have lost 80%-90% of their investment, are expected to stump up more cash at .3p a share, worse still there is no indication of where the money is going, the only obvious support from shareholders is to start legal action against the Slovenian authorities.

Legal action is the last thing on Mr Hutchinson's mind as he still seems to be living in the land of make believe of receiving permits. If one looks at Mr Leben's Twitter account he is now pursuing more 'green issues' concerning dumping of waste and is demanding 'soil samples' Oh soil samples, we have been there and done that have we not!

The talk of new projects, whilst viable, needed to be fully explained, basically there appears to be no plan for shareholders/new investors to attract them to the Primary Bid offer.

One would have thought, given the money Henderson's made out of Ascent (not to mention the links to Carver) they would have happily funded the company to the tune of £1m via taking a new stake in the company at a pre arranged price - not so it seems.

So if Henderson's (or whatever they are called now) do not seemingly want in, having made £8m+ then why should long suffering shareholders subscribe.

Depending on the amount raised, the funds will be used to continue to pursue the permits / legal options, do what is possible to maintain production before the permits arrive and progress due diligence on new projects. #AST

I would urge shareholders to email Yellow Jersey to see if they can arrange another shareholder evening in London as soon as possible, the last one was well attended.

I have noticed that a few people suggesting that shareholders should have attended the General Meeting, of course, typically, this was arranged in the week and if I recall at 9.30am, not investor friendly, clearly the BOD did not want people to attend.

I think, if nothing else, an event will allow shareholders to put their views and questions in a closed environment, the last one was a no holds barred discussion where media and the like were not present.

Clearly there are a lot of opinions as to why, to date, the Slovenians have failed to issue permits, I do wonder if Hutchinson is listening, my 'concern' was during the last interview was he was using the words 'hopefully' and 'we expect' etc. What urgency is there for legal action ?

I bought my 1st block of shares here at 4p, having followed events carefully I noticed over the last 3 quarters improving operational performance so could not believe the drop below .45p.

The reason for the drop was nothing more than a bored larger shareholder who dumped 70m at .20p, had it not been for this dump of stock I suspect the share price would now be trading above 2p (it was 1.3p before the sale)

I am convinced the debt restructure is a given, new CEO is the clue + the recent presentation looked very positive.

I quadrupled my holding here - buying at .40p to .80p and will be adding one more batch of stock next week.

I see this as another AAZ recovery situation, stock fell to 5p and is now trading at 85p - I suspect we could easily be trading above 2p by month end and 4p-5p within 3-6 months if all goes to plan.

I believe there should be a shareholder evening like the one held last March, shareholders can then make their views to the BOD.

I suspect the offer will go well because it's nigh certain the spivs will be able to close their shorts via the capital raise. Will these spivs then go long ??

I fully believe there will be a strong recovery in the share price over upcoming weeks and months.

XTR is still below many peoples radar but it IS significantly undervalued. It is not inconceivable that the company could receive a bid, there are many entities out there looking for new gold projects and seeking value plays.

It seems we are moving into a higher price gold environment which will assist re-rating of these juniors, XTR is not the only junior to have seen 60%-70% wiped of its market cap over the last 12 months.

In respect of news we know Bird has officially stated via RNS (as opposed to loose chatter) that we will hear about the Hard Rock (more revenue) within Q1 - he has also suggested Fairbride mine (the crown jewels) will be advanced this year.

Correct timing of ones entry point is key to any AIM investment proposition, had to invested at 3p a share last January you would have been down 76% by year end (due to sector demise) but if you invest below 1p in January 2019 it is entirely possible to attain a 100%/200%/300% gain by year end.

The sector is recovering, those with guts and prepared to invest before the herd arrive usually make the most money!

It took a long time to get just 100k of shares this morning.

I can see this moving past 1p very shortly, there appears to be a background buyer also.

I can only assume Sino are more than satisfied with the results of the mining operation over the last 12 months, we await Q4 numbers.

Had Bird announced Sino as sole alluvial contractor around the time of the AGM I am convinced the share price would not have fallen to recent levels, we would now probably be 1.5p+

In all, whilst I have been dissatisfied with lack of updates and Bird's failed promises, my attitude towards Xtract has changed over recent weeks mainly as a result of sector recovery and in the knowledge that more news has been promised in Q1.

Being a seasoned operator on AIM I know how fast share price recoveries can come, especially in a stock that has been beaten down by nearly 80% without obvious due reason, other than sector weakness.

I will be adding at current levels, I also think Bird will want to calm investors ahead of the investor show in late March, by which time we could easily have recovered a lot of shareholder value.
