I think the fact that the source suggesting Ascent will receive permits are a protest group means there is almost certainly some truth in the matter, add in the recent media reports suggesting a amicable settlement is preferred by the Slovenian authorities adds further weight.

I think this is a good move, new name will be AlytnGold PLC + 1 share for every 100 consolidation + new website.

The company is stepping up it's corporate image.

The poor share price is a direct result of action taken by Mark Child himself, he was the one that issued a massive 9m warrants priced at a farcical 40p with a 2 year strike. A significant headwind for a illiquid and thinly traded stock.

I have also noticed that Condor only seem to release meaningful news ahead of a fund raise, the pattern has been replicated a few times if folk care to look deeper. Since the fund £6.6m raise in May there has been no news worthy of comment.

In a nutshell retail investors, i.e. the ones that want to see some share price appreciation along the way, are at the mercy of Mark Child who talks a good game but has delivered very little shareholder value, the rather pathetic attempts to demonstrate the company is materially undervalued are undermined by crazy warrant strike prices, if he felt the company was so undervalued why not have a strike price of 60p or 70p with a 2 year term at the last raise ?

The guy needs to be challenged in a meaningful way over this, the sector is in a boom phase and Condor are going no-where fast. A poor show IMO.

The matter is pretty straight forward IF there was a material event to justify the 33% drop the company would be forced to issue a RNS, they have had all afternoon to do so, so far nothing.

Looks like panic selling due to media reports combined with stop losses being triggered, no RNS equals no change in the situation IMO.

I would add that no doubt stop losses have been triggered which may account for a large proportion of the sells hitting the bid, once these clear it will/should bounce.

I see this as a trading punt, anything material would have to be RNS'ed, so far nothing, as others have pointed out the shares can turn up quickly on very low volume.

The RSI is now a bombed out 29, materially oversold, whilst technical indicators mean nothing in adversity if that adversity does not come then the rise/recover could be dramatic from oversold levels.

The book has turned positive, not many available at 45p right now then it moves up again.

Well from a technical perspective the shares are hideously oversold, the RSI which was 73 in August is now down to 30, it is due a technical bounce, would not be surprised to see Jim Mellon buying some also.

Ascent have gone very quiet, no media or tweets, it is clear we are in a crucial period, as everyone knows any whiff about a agreed settlement and the share price will fly, it will be nigh impossible to buy in on the day of news at current levels, you are either in or out, it is a binary play.

Circa £3m m/cap seems balmy given the possible upside when the company is pursuing a number in excess of £40m, the fact the Quantum Expert was supposed to confirm the exact damages number 'imminently' dated 10th Sept RNS and has not suggests something is afoot IMO.

A question was asked as to why XTR was only valued at £7m when the likes of pure explorers with no hope of revenues for years (like UFO & CHF for example) are valued north of £30m. Bird felt it was down to the delays but then said (rightly IMO) no recognition has been taken account of the Aussie project which he felt Xtract acquired at a rock bottom price.

Bird felt the Aussie licence if packaged in a IPO would be valued at multiples of XTR's current market cap due to the potential and the fact there are operating mines nearby plus Anglo has a buy back option, I suppose he has a point. Look at the re-rate going on at UFO right now based on a licence acquisition, they command a £40m m/cap.

Bird has failed on timelines and is a volatile CEO but the Aussie deal looks a good one, he feels very confident it will deliver significant value to shareholders.

Forgot to mention that Bird said they sold 4.5 kilos of gold this week, around 160 ounces, worth circa $300k.

It is worth noting that the interim results to June will be published by the end of this month, these numbers will be material and could drive the share price if they are good.

I felt the interview was positive, Bird clearly believes the Aussie project will be a game changer, we already know the numbers on Fairbride and the new revenue combined will add $750k a month free cash to the coffers, he acknowledged that the market wants to see delivery but then said do you buy in at £7m m/cap or wait, his feeling was now is a great time to get in.

Zak Mir suggested that it was only a matter of time before XTR would get the upside treatment all juniors have received, certain explorers now have £20m+ m/caps just for acquiring a new licence, so far Xtract are unloved.
