Ironic how the bashers turn up ahead of Slovenian settlement news, I see no selling from major holders, their TR1's remain intact, Align retain their near 10m shares for example and maintain their target price of circa 19p

Those that have kept the faith in the new management team have been well rewarded (from 3p) those listening to the naysayers and not bought the lows have lost out on material gains.

I expect there to be a broadly positive conclusion from Slovenia, news on or around the 19th this month.

That's quite a coup for Ascent being propositioned in Moneyweek - looking forward to the news ahead, it will get harder to buy as month end approaches, everyone knows how quickly this can move.

Can see more upside ahead today, from a technical perspective the shares bounced hard when the RSI hit the 12 month low.

News is probably not far away either, looks a good entry point for recovery.

The difference between a Paul Johnson interview and a Andrew Bell interview is staggering, Johnson is sharp, promotional and every other word makes listeners want to buy Power shares, on the other hand Anderw Bell waffles and waffles on, boring listeners.

I have bought in around current levels nonetheless, mainly on the basis that the larger shareholders in Red Rock are heavily out of pocket, have Bell under control to some extent + there appear to be a number of near term shareholder value catalysts.

The last time I bought RRR I actually made money !

If anyone believes that Ascent has not been hard done by by the Slovenian authorities are deluded, what about the negative social media posts by the then Environment Minister on a Friday afternoon ahead of a Bank Holiday weekend that trashed the share price late Friday and at market open on the Tuesday.

There are many other examples of poor procedures by the same authorities.

AST have a very very good case for compensation, had it not been so good the Slovenians would not have suggested they prefer a amicable settlement would they !

In every interview Conroy has bragged about how much interest they had from other parties, even talked about it after the proposed JV with AAZ was announced.

One interesting aspect, that has not been picked up on, is that Conroy said they had terminated the JV with AAZ, so it seems Conroy was prepared to walk away in favour of the Turks, the rather terse statement from AAZ suggests they were not happy about the outcome.

I also noticed that the new proposed JV would be expedited quickly, it seems both parties want to move aggressively to conclusion, see below....

'it is acknowledged by both Conroy Gold and Demir Export that time shall be of the essence in finalising a definitive agreement between the parties'

In all Demir Export are a much larger group than AAZ and have a full suite of resources to deliver all aspects of the project. Maybe it is, after all, a much better deal for Conroy shareholders.

With only 32m shares issued Conroy is valued at a mere £8m, to put this into perspective there are junior explorers with no resource (let alone a JORC like Conroy) valued north of £20m

When the dust settles buyers will return IMO

Conroy clearly said that they were getting 'very close' to closing the JV, this was said on January 20th, as we all know if a deal concludes Conroy shares will rocket, you need to be in it to win here, risk/reward very much favours the upside IMO, can see 60p+ if the JV with AAZ concludes.

The Director purchase is significant, not because of the size but what it tells the market, it suggests there are no upcoming acquisitions or dilutive share issues imminent, it is a buy signal therefore.

If anything negative (to justify the drop from 40p) was in the bag the Director would not be allowed to trade, full stop.

It is clear as crystal the shares are being shorted, IG has removed 1000 shares from their platform, clearly the short gangs are targeting other stocks not on the IG list.

At some point they will close their positions, the RSI is now 40 against 80 a few days ago, it is getting materially oversold, it would not take much retail buying to move the price back swiftly - something the short positions will be aware of.

Timing is key to entry for the longs, it must be getting close, a material bounce will come.

The share price reaction today will be interesting, it seems to be somewhat range bound even after ongoing and very positive news-flow.

One wonders if CB will raise more cash to propel the drill programme, there is still no meaningful revenue coming in - had it not been for Bushranger we would all be wondering about the situation at Manica, has clearly not progressed has quickly as expected to say the least, sentiment on this BB would be a very different.

Some reality needs to be considered, there are 100m shares issued at 1.25p to the sellers of Bushranger, there are 27m warrants convertible at 1.85p, there is Sanderson who are not shy of selling down their stake attained at 1.25p in the September placing, another 20m shares, KPZ has 25m shares issued circa 1p, there are millions of shares bought under 1.5p by retail investors in the lead up to Bushranger, quite a headwind for the share price.

It will be interesting to see if the share price propels and the brakes come off, if not the above could be the explanation as to why.

It is interesting how hard it is to buy at ever lower prices yet easy to sell, typical market manipulation, as everyone knows when the rebound comes it will be dynamic and probably catch everyone unawares.

Looking forward to the short squeeze, it will happen, the RSI has fallen from 84 to 50, the lowest for 2 months, looks a great entry point. For the traders there is 25%-30% upside waiting to happen.

PTR featured on Sharetalk just now, Zak Mir has a target price as high as 3p within 1 month.

As someone pointed out on the other site, the last time Jupiter had similar profit RRR received in excess of £800k in dividend.

RRR looks a very interesting proposition right now, a good entry point.

It takes time to re-organise the share capital, they cannot issue shares below par value that's a fact, so what is the plan, maybe future conversions will be at par or slightly above if the lender agrees or is there some other scheme being hatched?

I agree with many here the silence is not satisfactory, not only is the debt position unsustainable based on current production W must also be skirting on a financial tightrope not being able to issue shares under 0.10p.

Historically Masterman was never shy to come forward and do interviews on Proactive and other outlets, his silence is worrying in my view, prospective new investors, bargain hunters if you like, have nothing to work on except guesswork, this is not satisfactory.

When/if the fog lifts it may be possible to make a investment decision until then it has to be a avoid situation IMO.

Looking forward to the 'considerable news-flow' coming from Petroneft in the near term (this month) this will re-rate from a very very low base.

The share price moves quickly on modest volume as the free float is tiny, most of the shares are very tightly held.

Now is the time to add or buy IMO.
