There is no liver toxicity reported and all raised liver enzymes returned to normal after stopping the Iclaprim during the trial...same as with Vancomycin....

The trial was of small number and the fda wants a bigger number to make sure these liver raised enzymes do not develop into liver toxicity damage and ultimately death.
So many drugs approved by fda with potential liver toxicity and death but on a very rare occasions and if monitored closely can be avoidable. The fda wants to know and be sure on a larger scale trial that extent of raised liver enzymes and potential liver toxicity before approval.... 600 patient trial was not enough obviously so the fda no. Of patients required in the next trial will be paramount. I believe in incoming positive news and that is why I remain invested here..
If it goes bust then will accept this too...you cannot win them all!

Without news the sp will continue upwards movement as the short attacks have been neutralised by 2 funds +8% buy yesterday...the additional upwards advantage will be supported by short squeeze in the coming week....sp should travel back towards £3 . This is a natural correction of anomaly in sp by shorters who were caught off -guards!..
If there are positive news on top then we are looking at further movement well beyond £4+ .
Mtro is now a sitting target by a bigger fish or going private..
All good and looking forwards...doom and gloom are over by yesterday catalyst and this explained the rebound in sp from 155p low to 192p sp ends on high. This is not a temporary retrace.

For me MTRO direction now at this current time to stay independent as it is...., is nearly over ..
I guess a takeover by a bigger bank /another challenger bank! Or bought private and in either case we the investors will achieve a much higher sp. it is a win win situation for many but not all unfortunately who bought at much higher sp.
I doubt it can stand alone for long...
I hold a big number in mtro now .
2 funds buying significant numbers of shares yesterday was a huge plus for boosting confidence and beating the shorters.
Feeling much more secure and confident in mtro moving forwards.

Explore gas to increase and diversify from oil too.
Move and explore further a field outside kurdistan to a more stable region to lower the risks
M/A activity
Op is volatile so fix future sell half at a higher op
Increase your buy back when cash not used
Pay special dividends with some of unused pile of cash
Spread the news with institutional investors how good G is!
Directors purchase to give more confidence to investors rather than lip service.

All above seems at less than snail pace....investors are getting fatigued!!
Piling cash with this pace is not attractive to ii.

Well ....first sorry to hear about your so far a paper loss but not real loss until you sell mtro.
I bought mtro on several tranches and my average is down about 14%...
I am staying put as I believe this is a temporary issue and the bank is well capitalised with very rich and experienced people at the helm.....
Short attackers are working hard to bring it down but I think we near or at the bottom but a reversal will take place ....
Unlike you I still hold my G never sold any and many other oilers ...12 different companies.
