You know what I meant about targeting the Kimmeridge. I doubt they are Perforating the Kimmeridge, there would be an RNS, and other approvals in place. I just don’t want you getting PI’s hopes up to then find it’s all a rumour, stick to the facts of an RNS. Why would they bother putting an ESP in X2 for the polite if they were going to then perforate the Kimmeridge?

However surely it's in Vonk's best interest to inform the market that they plan to drill the Kim at Lidsey asap, as it would have a good effect on the SP. Has there been an RNS informing of us of this change of plan? The answer is no. It would be the perfect RNS to say "due to not flowing Balcombe before the summer as I promised, we have decided to target the Kim at Lidsey whilst we wait for the SCC meeting on Brockham. This is because we still intend to flow test Balcombe and Brockham back to back." Have we received such communication? No. Therefore it's unlikely they are targeting the Kim at Lidsey until we get an RNS stating so. Final question do they have an FDP to flow test the Kim at Lidsey? Discuss and ramp on topic as Wolf would say. If an RNS does prove me to be wrong, which I hope I am then I will bow down to your superior predictions.

Indeed Neon, think people just jump to conclusions without thinking about it logically. We need some extra bopd than 212 before the end of the year if Angus is going to do well. Luckily we have many different areas to increase bopd by year end.

Your guess is as good as mine. If you are right and they are perforating the Kimmeridge layer then fantastic. I just think it's unlikely because Vonk hasn't mentioned that he planned to do it anytime soon (who knows now that SCC have pushed the meeting back maybe he has decided to just get on with it) and also don't they need OGA approval to flow the Kimmeridge layer at Lidsey?

Think its highly unlikely they are perforating down at Lidsey, Vonk would have made some webcast or RNS about it and hyped it. Much more likely is X1 being used as a water injector and X2 having the ESP fitted. Frustrating that such great news of OGA operatorship is squandered by the market only waking up to the fact that Balcombe won't be flow tested in June. As soon as the SCC delayed the Brockham planning application till the 20th June it was highly likely this would happen, as Vonk wanted to flow test Balcombe and Brockham back to back. I hope they increase the rates at Lidsey X2 by a bit. As currently the 212 bopd will be our only revenue until Brockham or Balcombe are in production, which will take a while due to extra permission required for production.

Haha oh Wolf, no i'm not expecting any large increase in flow rates from the ESP's, as I was under the impression they were just more efficient than the nodding donkeys. However I am expecting SP increase in lead up to Balcombe OGA operatorship and flow test.

Think this is more than a pump and dump, inevitably there will be some pull backs but enjoy the rise. May see 9p today and hopefully some consolidation next week until news breaks out. Imminent Balcombe flow tests*, Real Analyst Brcokham still needs to go through SCC on the 20th June.

Once we break through this it will fly to unseen highs. Just need some news to do it, good thing we have lots to expect in the next few weeks!

If I was them I would co mingle all the zones see what flow rate it gave unchoked. Find a balance of sustainable flow with it choked. Depending on flow rates, flow it until the frac permit is there and then frac it. That way GJ can data collect and see what natural flow occurs with no stmulation and then frac it to see if it is economically viable to frac which I imagine it definitely is. This means they can use Dempsey as a template for the other lookalikes and won’t take nearly as much faff as this has. It sounds like they will do just that unless they do get the co mingle to flow above 10 mmscf/d sustainably, which I doubt but hey I may be wrong.

Ja give it a break Cuadrilla are still the operator currently, so they would apply as the operator until an RNS comes to confirm that Angus is the new operator. Ja you have to give a balanced view every post you have written is negative. What are people's thoughts on the installation of ESPs at Lidsey will they increase the rates? Also what are the chances that once we have operatorship, Vonk will just press on with Balcombe whilst SCC debate on Brockham?

Will Vonk now just crack on with flow testing Balcombe whilst they wait for SCC? I hope so.

I just hope Angus address all their “interesting” questions. No mention about QCs either which is why Angus went ahead with the drilling in the first place. As well as OGA and EA approval.
