Not very good racing on Sunday but there are a couple at Market Rasen. In the 1st race the Ferguson horse NABUCCA is the class horse in the race and working well at Newmarket. They have not priced this race but hopeful that the Richard Johnson horse is favorite. In the 4.25 Mark Rasen a horse we bet at Ascot a couple weeks ago TEAK is the class horse and came 2nd in the Queen Alexandra at Ascot. My old trainer Ian Williams is a master with these dual discipline horses and the stable are very bullish. SELECTIONS FOR SUNDAY-: mark ras. 2.15 NABUCCA. 4.25. TEAK . GLA

A good Friday so let's have a look at Saturday's racing. My old mate Richard Fahey should have a good day tomorrow. I had six horses in training in 1997- 1999 When Kevin Ryan was Richards assistant trainer. CHISWICK BEY has been a bit of a revelation this season and hoping for another big run at Leicester he needs a fair pace and the handicapper has done his best to stop him says Richard. Richard says JOHNNY B GOOD has been knocking at the door and should run a solid race. KHELMAN wants juice in the ground and I have declared him and hope the going will be softish side, because he's in great form and has been waiting for this ground. Eclipse Stakes is going to be a fantastic race and I don't think it's going to be easy for GOLDEN HALL who I had a good bet on in the Derby. Disappointing day yesterday but put Kevin Ryan's ROYAL DISPLAY in your diary to follow he was only beaten 3 lengths on ground that had gone against him after thunderstorm he's a fast ground horse. Kevin withdrew his runner and favourite from the next race on Graham Lee's advice on the ground. Today first selection is at Newton Abbot 4.55 EASILY PLEASED ground will be what he likes and he jumps well. My ew selection is KALK BAY in the 3.35 Doncaster the ground will be on his side. At Haydock in the Nursery Kevin Ryan's BINT ALDAR has shortened from 9/2 into 7/2 the filly is working well at home yet our EW selection ROYAL DISPLAY is drifting 12/1 to 14/1 but this Showcasing chestnut Colt is working well and seems good ew value?? There are interesting runners for Ian Balding today 7.25 Epsom DESERT COMMAND and the Cathy Gannon piloted in the 8.25 Epsom DANDY he won well at Chepstow week last Monday and Balding horse are running out of there skins. No changes to my selections just a few to watch for interest.

Commissioned got us out of jail today but I think Ryan Moore gave LEGATISSIMO a terrible ride? I was hopeing for rain at Pontefract for the Kevin Ryan trained MOONLIGHT VENTURE in the 5.30 but with ground good to firm and no rain forecast we have to wait for another day. At Windsor one of my old trainers Greame McPherson who is also a Barrister to BHB has EVERVESCENT in the 7.30. Also in the 9.00 Wind. Timmy Murphy is riding fo his old weighing mate Jamie Osbourne on SHIFTING STAR and looks a ew chance. The Furgason horses are running very well and Mikey Ennis claims 5lb and is a very capable pilot.

LEFKOSIA-: Yes been out for dinner and one or three Clarets to many?? My friend has got 2 runners today ZEEONEANDONLY and MYWAYONLY both trained by David Evans. The trainer gave him more hope of place money than I could give him. Though ZEEONEANDONLY ran well for us last week in a big field race. I have had a silly EW double for fun?? Conor Shoemark is on Fergal O'Briens AZA RUN who is running for the 1st time in UK working well at home but these ex- Irish horses take time to settle and I will just watch today. Fergal has got excellent facilities at Childra Stud in the Cotswalds where his landlord is Timmy Murphy the ex jump jockey and now flat jockey. At childra there are some retired old favourites like WELL CHIEF and COMPLY OR DIE which Timmy Murphy rode to victory in the 2008 Grand National.
