THUNDER SHEIK EW. At Chepstow 2.15 SATELLITE EW from my local stable this horse has missed a few entries and is highly rated by yard and if going stays good to soft he will run a big race. Alain Cawley has several good rides for Venetia Williams at Chepstow and 3.30 ROSA FLEET EW at 14/1 should go very close. GLA

Nigel VAUTOUR was jumping and running brilliantly about 3lengths in front when over jumped a ditch and hit the ground!! Bad day for Ruby fell in the next as well and has been stood down for rest of day and will have to pass Doctor tomorrow to ride in National.

Well that was pure luck I had forecast VAUTOUR and GODS OWN but had £10 ew on GODS OWN for the 5/2 place money but made my day Paddy.

It was great to watch CUE CARD win today and Paddy give it a brilliant ride. My heart nearly stopped when THE NEW ONE fell I've watched him since he arrived at Nigel's watched him on the gallops when he first ran at Warwick and to do feel for these horses. I'm hoping he's OK Friday morning when he wakes up. GLA

Well let's hope it's a good Aintree for us all. At Taunton 2.05 CAHILL with Alain Cawley in the saddle has been working well. Aintree through the card. 1.40. L'AMI SERGE 2.15. DIEGO DU CHAMIL EW. 2.50 CUE CARD. 3.25. ANNIE POWER and THE NEW ONE( forecast). 4.05. MARASONNIEN. 4.40 SOLAR IMPULSE 5.15. LA BAQUE AU ROI. THE NEW ONE has been bouncing since the Champion Hurdle and this course is more suitable for him so I think he will come second to ANNIE POWER. CUE CARD I still think would have won the GOLD CUP and I'm sure Paddy will give him the ride of his life to make up for it. GLA

ALVARADO Fregal says he going to miss the cut,ridiculous that last 2 years 4th can't get to race!! He needs 8 to drop out to get in and that's a big ask with 4 days to the race.!!

Emblaze he's the best when he won the 2010 Racing Post Chase I don't think any other jockey would have stayed on with the mistake at the last. I was worried when the front 3 went ahead by 10lghs but Paddy never panics I had a big bet today on him!!
