It's a long way from North Yorkshire for Robert. GLA

A bad afternoon but made up for my loses at Chepstow tonight a horrible night weather wise cold but a couple of good price winners made my night. Sunday's usuall poor racing in UK. Fakenham 2.40. In the Irish 1000gns the favourite is 3/1 on so I will have an each way bet on Kevin Ryan's horse ASHADIHAN EW at 40/1 she has been working very well at home and could be some good place value and Jamie has gone over to ride. Excellent racing Satuday both sides of the water with the Irish 2000 Gns as well as York Newmarket Haydck and Goodwood in the afternoon but it's not easy to find winner! At Ayr Wednesday my old friend the lovely Linda Perratt always does well at this meeting and as she trains next to the racecourse the horses got no travelling. I haven't tipped BRANDO today as the yard is still not firing on the courses although BRANDO is reported to be working well it's not until they hit the track you find out. I know Kevin was very disappointed with his runners yesterday and the 2yo HEMINGWAY who played up badly in the stalls and was withdrawn and is one of his best young horses who will win races. He will have to go through a stall test now before he runs that means he put through the stalls 3 times before he is past to run. I had a horse who did about 6 stalls test because he refused to enter when not in the mood to race. As Jack Berry says if a horse could talk you wouldn't run them half the times.

LEFKOSIA HI, It's a great offer for Chepstow but I never pay to go racing! I text one of my old trainers or Jockeys to leave me a couple of badges for Owners and Trainers. SDS does not seem to get peach rides at York do you think. I believe at the big meetings a lot of the races are won by retained jockeys for the big yards and SDS is free lance!
