Well I was born nominally a "Christian" . Even went to Sunday school and scripture union. Mainly for the fringe benefits, sweets and lemonade and a summer camp in Donegal. Never really believed and when at first year High School they put on a project highlighting the Holocaust and those dreadful facts. Followed by the "World at war series" and the pictures and cine film of trenches and piles of bodies....that was it for me.I turned my back.
Christianity is older than Islam but most can see has run out of steam, certainly in this country. Hi
Islam grows still.
The history of both is violent. Original intentions twisted and used for power and gain. A tool to manipulate the masses, promising everlasting life..
You know with a trillion stars in our galaxy alone and trillions of galaxies out there...I wonder anyone in this connected so called civilized world believes in a deity.
Many just have to have something bigger than their life to believe in
