The thing about the Moors ,Bodmin and Dartmoor is they do sometimes seem to have their own microclimate. We are only half an hour away from Bodmin.

North and south coast can be totally different. There is an area at the top of Carglaze which seems to have it's own cloud on most days of the year.

Ironically hundreds of new "eco" homes were built there. I don't think the local visibility was a selling point in the brochure.

Well I was brought up on a farm . Here in Kernow there has been a lot of farm equipment on the roads for weeks. Season starts early down here. Lots of pictures and pieces to camera on "spotlight" showing rotting vegetables. Even the well drained areas unable to prepare or sow early stuff. To be fair Devon /Somerset/parts of Dorset have had it worse. My growing plot is built up 1 metre above the natural ground level here in the white clay district. We are actually 800feet above sea level. No flooding here. I would normally have a modest potato and onion crop sown by now but I will hold off. They tend to catch up and will be mostly harvested and stored long before summer ends.

88 I think with the weight of History behind them and 2 world wars German re armaments would have caused huge problems for the EU...Most of Europe suffered back then.
