No posts from Brixton today, has he been suspended/banned?

DOW has opened up 216 pts so hopefully give some positive momentum to FTSE and Lloyds this afternoon.

I think the LSE figure is probably correct. I checked HL website afterwards and it said volume traded was 30m as did yahoo finance.

The information on this site says volume traded so far today 30m,but is that correct? Google finance page says volume traded so far today 142m?

FTSE futures currently up 40 pts so looks like starting a new week on the positive. Lets hope we can claw back last weeks fall this week!

Lloyds is currently in the 40's and has been since the start of March?

I don't think the institutions will have as much influence on Lloyds BOD as they can with Aviva; IMO the Treasury are still lurking menacingly in the background having influence over banks.

I was merely pointing out that the "investing experts" from Motley Fool are notorious for frequently posting contradictory posts on stocks, not just Lloyds. And I think you know only to well that I am not the only one on this board that thinks Lloyds daily SP movements are influenced by DOW daily movements, so maybe you are the clown?

And no doubt one of the other experts from Motley Fool will shortly put up an article saying why he/she would not buy Lloyds. Clowns!

And so has the SP of all the other banks! FTSE has had 6 consecutive down days, and the way things are going today will be the 7th straight down day. What did you expect after 5 days!

Information I am looking at said DOW was down -66 pts (-0.19%) at close? FTSE has had 6 consecutive down days, Futures slightly up at moment. Lets hope it can break the 6 day trend today!

Yes, the only way is up from here!

I think most on here would welcome 65p in 4 to5 years time. Add at least another 10p in ordinary dividends plus any bonus specials along the way sounds OK to me.

I read through the article to quickly as it does say "the bank has said it hopes to build up most of its portfolio by developing new sites from scratch".

I read it that they would buy and rent 50,000 newly built properties. I don't read it that they will build the properties?

Looks like good support at 44p.
