I remember working for 3 months in 1977 in the Job Creation Scheme, which was the predecessor of the YTS. I was in a squad employed at the local Golf Course going around digging out the drainage ditches to keep them clear! As has already been alluded to, cheap labour, nothing else.

I certainly do as well! I bought my house in May 1988 with a 100% mortgage from Bank of Scotland, and it was on a standard variable rate mortgage, not fixed. It really was a struggle keeping my head above water for many years after that, but mortgage free now since 2013.

The article in the Daily Sceptic does not suggest or even mention wearing masks does not prevent someone catching COVID? How do you come to this conclusion in your post? There is absolutely nothing in the article either suggesting ant-vax tones or rhetoric? Again, how to you think this article in any way is anti-vax? My understanding of the article is that they are putting forward an argument that figures for hospital admissions with COVID are misleading as their is evidence that these figures include people who were admitted to hospital for something else, not COVID, but later tested positive for COVID after being in hospital for a week or more, suggesting some MAY have contacted COVID on the ward. The daily Sceptic is therefore saying based on this that the Government should put more scrutiny on the figures to get a more accurate assessment before going down the route of introducing more restrictions or even lockdown based on figures for hospital admissions with COVID. The article is nothing to do with challenging mask wearing or promoting anti-vax rhetoric!

I wonder if we see any more Director buys (or sells) today or tomorrow? Tomorrow is the last day they would be able to buy/sell due to the 60 day period before annual results in which they are prohibited from buying or selling shares in the company they are director in.

Take this with a very large pinch of salt. It wont be long before another one of the "alleged experts" from the Motley Fool will post an article saying the opposite and why not to buy the share.
