Interesting that you should choose 1 post which has a subject matter of rocketing energy costs to the consumer, which can be argued is relevant to Lloyds if this affects Lloyds clients who hold accounts with the bank, to highlight your point, yet no mention of countless posts drivelling on about MP's salaries? Wall Street staged a recovery late on yesterday and regained most of the early loses; DOW closed down -0.45%, NASDAQ closed up +0.042%, S&P closed down -0.14%.
FTSE Futures currently up circa +25 pts so hopefully we have a rise in SP again today.

Looks like today was a "taking profits day" for many investors; 137 million sells, 46 million buys. Looks like a good recovery of SP in after hours trading, Google showing 53.04p. I guess there will be many days like this now going forward as SP slowly rises as disillusioned investors who have been trapped in over last 2 or 3 years will sell out when they reach their break even price or show a small profit.

Well you've got all bases covered there then! IMO the SP will have a SLOW trend upwards approaching final results day, maybe/hopefully 55p by then (there will no doubt be some down days along the way but the overall trend should be upwards). Then depending on level of return of capital to share holders by way of ordinary dividend and possible special dividend, and buy backs, upwards trend to continue after final results day up to x-dividend date, how far up it goes if any will be proportional to the level of returns to share holders.
