What's interesting to me is we on this board had to endure months of Captain Stanley telling us that the world was going in the direction of cheap, quick, less-accurate tests and that PCR would soon be obsolete. The truth is far from that.
Actually what looks to be happening is that cheap, quick, less-accurate tests will be used periodically to either attempt to gain some control over a spike or get a better picture of the spread in a city/region/country. PCR on the other hand will continue unhindered 24/7 365 days a year in the settings that matter most...
