In short yes, the panic surrounding the auditing issue appears to have subsided somewhat.

The helpful thing with this forum is that the deramping is so intense I don't need to look around for bad press - I know for certain if there is any someone will be on here quick as a flash sharing it with everyone!

This is the problem with society nowadays, there seems to be no space for redemption, no space for reform.

I'm all for the likes of the guardian uncovering poor working conditions but the aim MUST be to see positive long term change, to force business to clamp down on exploitation. So give the company the chance to follow through on their claims and then IF they fail to take the necessary steps that should be the cue to go after them again.

The one thing I agreed with the fund manager (Lennie was it?) was how impossible it is to value this company right now. I held all the way from £3 not because I'm a smart investor but simply on the fact that I knew fair value was "some place north of here!"

Personally I think we're close to fairly valued but the momentum is crazily strong right now and if instis are buying in this is only going in one direction. We've moving from being so ridiculously undervalued to being valued on the potential. Seeing as it's possible for ncyt to be worth £5b in 2 years time (~£70 a share) if everything falls in to place, I'm going for £17 by christmas.

Did Winnifrith ever come out and admit how wrong his call on novacyt was? Must be one of the worst calls anyone's ever seen!

I was one of the newbies back in June that was intimidated after reading his piece. I had a relatively large amount in novacyt and very nearly took it off the table as it made me look at the vocal novacyt promoters as dodgy rampers. Thank god I resisted. I do feel for those that Tom put off, they must be fuming.

I get panicky about the idea of being off grid for a few days or falling ill and not being able to see what's going on. I started investing with all the money I had to my name at the start of the year (£20k into a stocks and shares isa) and am not sitting on a £100k portfolio thanks first to synairgen and now novacyt. Sat on £20k sng, £55k ncyt £15k NEX and £10k for a rainy day.

Every 1% rise makes my heart skip a beat!

I also think his valuation is way off the mark. IF and it's a big if still, by next December we are sitting on a £600m cashpile, then this is not going to be worth 1.5x£600m = £900m. It just isn't. The potential for where this company goes with £600m in a rapidly growing diagnostics market and with strong partnerships in all the major countries in the world is off the charts.

I'm not going to sit here and predict what the cashpile will be 14 months from now but if it is £600m then this will be worth £3b at least...

It also goes to show how much more the top contributors on here know than professional investors/fund managers. I think I know more about novacyt than the man speaking in the video and my knowledge of the company and its products is miniscule compared to Shaun, Tay, Blade, gggg etc

It's the shock pieces and new allegations/stories that impact the share. I'd be wary being all in long term as I'm sure at some point they'll be something new unearthed or some new problem that will once again have a substantial effect, but I don't think it will be so soon to the last. This should rise steadily now to at least 320p ish over the next 7 days.

Traders are going to close their positions but as long as there is no new biting news over the weekend this will rise substantially on opening Monday. So it's a case of take your pick. I don't think there will be anything to cause a shock like last week personally.

Holding. Imo any problematic news would have been released during the week, holding it back intentionally is illegal.

Anyone who argues that in this climate people aren't interested in buying clothes are simply ignoring the facts - since February Boohoo's revenue and profits have skyrocketed.

All week I said stop the halt Mon/Tues, consolidation Wednesday and Thursday before the rise on Friday. I think I might have called it!

Bangerracing, I think the exact opposite. The fact that novacyt have such a strong relationship with the government is what has taken this from a solid investment to a nailed-on winner. Health spending yearly is around the £175b mark if I'm not mistaken - with the promise to transform the UK's diagnostic sector over the next five years the relationship with the government really is invaluable.

I think most on here agree that the director buys were a simple signal to investors that 'this ship isn't about to go down'. It was needed earlier in the week when the fear over what might emerge from PWCgate kept this below 230p...

This board (here's looking at you ShaunP for Please, Persevere, Polite) + a couple of contributors on twitter have allowed me and others to make money we simply would never have been able to otherwise. There is no way I would have had the confidence to ride such a significant investment all the way from £3 to £11 without all this information and support. You really have been an enormous help and I'm particularly glad that you're reaping the rewards yourselves now!
