This is not a company that is hurt by the bad publicity. Its target market largely doesn't care plus it is one company made up of numerous brands all with a different company image.

This makes the bad publicity an amazing buying opportunity.

As I said the other day, once something is unearthed everything else sticks. It does not seem like a story to me but everything is going to be taken as a negative and raise suspicion now.

It's not actually true that a vaccine would necessarily only give up to six months immunity, early data from the Oxford trials suggested the vaccine would likely offer longer protection than directly contracting the virus (particularly if the viral load was low). Having said that it's becoming clear that a promising vaccine that offers broad long-lasting protection that effectively brings an end to the pandemic is a long while off yet. And even then sng001 will still be needed. And then you've got other viruses. And then you've got COPD.

In short there's a bright future for synairgen no matter what the next six months brings...

I don't buy it, sorry. Everyone knows that there is a lot of corruption and malpractice that goes on in big businesses. For some organisations and for some reporters their job is to expose as much of this as they can, to atleast ostensibly, bring positive long term change. It's not a case of boohoo being corrupt whilst all the others are squeaky clean, it's just a case of having something concrete and headline worthy to pin on them. Now they have the bit between their teeth it's worth going at them from every perceivable angle as they know everything will now stick.

This will eventually blow over somewhat and attention will shift to some other corp doing something else dodgy. There is absolutely no way that this is having any long term impact on the actual business.

Where did you get your figures from laughinggravy? Fevertree has an mcap of £2.5b and ASOS £4.7b. Just a week ago ASOS was worth well over £5b.

This investment could multiply 8 times and still very much fill the criteria of midcap.

For now the most we can do is compare ourselves with the rest of the e-commerce fashion industry but is it not obvious to everyone that boohoo's business is a niche unto itself? It's obviously useful as a comparison to see just how much money is now being spent online but I think we could be shocked at just how dominant boohoo could become in the future, especially if it captures a huge US market share...

I can absolutely assure you that all it takes is one big rise for sentiment to switch and everyone once again focusing on the true value of the business and jumping in for fomo. I don't have a crystal ball so don't know when that will happen but it will, it always does.
