I think what hedged is saying that the fundamentals will always win out and so the actual timing of an rns is irrelevant in the long run. If boohoo corners more of the market and continues to grow at such a rate then it doesn't matter when the next rns lands...

There is still every chance that a truly effective vaccine is never produced and the virus becomes endemic in society in perpetuity. Making barely a fraction of what ncyt are now at a proper growth stock P/E and we'd multibag from here. And that's ignoring billions in the bank at that point to reinvest in different areas...

The potential here is staggering.

I'm with Bruce re 'merica - if they entrench themselves deeper into the US the balance sheet could start to look pretty spectacular.

Covid-wise I am now starting to look longer term. Short term it looks like boohoo will definitely benefit and there is almost certainly going to be a long-term change in buyer behaviour with the 'death of the high street' expedited. How boohoo navigates this new horizon will be the difference between this share doing 'fine' or this taking off like a rocket.

Brexit-wise I'm not so sure but I don't think personally it will make a significant difference.

Could Boohoo 10 bag in 10 years and be worth £35b in 2030? It has every chance imo.

Some very good points made on here over the last few posts. Yes on the surface this is not a breathtakingly innovative and unique business but what it has over everyone else is first mover advantage - not only in the online retail sphere but also in its targeted marketing and reach. It's horrible to be looking at this from such a predatory perspective but the current situation is about to offer up opportunities to boohoo that even those arrogant kids running the business would never have dreamed of - cash rich in an environment where many previously successful and established brands will be going to the wall.

Ten years ago amazon was big ($69B) but I don't think anyone would have predicted it would be $1.66T by 2020... (24 bag in 10 years).

Conspiracy theorists are about to find out whether or not there's any validity to their claims that the virus isn't real/ is relatively harmless/ doesn't need to be contained etc (delete as appropriate) as the sad experiment in the US comes to a head. 120k cases a day now and growing with little to no attempt to curb the spread in its tracks...

If they're right then it will be handled with ease and will just 'go away' but I'm hedging my bets that things get pretty serious pretty quickly stateside.

That's your opinion. Mine is different - after the sharp fall to 250p on the 20th October this has steadily gained, rising 5-6% a week. Barring any shocks I see this rise continuing to around the 315-330p range at which point we might need a trading update to move back closer to true value.

There's lots of us on here that are holding all of our shares from an average of 45p and below.

Seeing as the auditor news and the uncertainty around it caused a pretty sharp drop from 315p to 250p over a couple of days there is every reason to believe positive auditor news would at least give the share price a small boost...

It is itching to break out of this 270-285 range.

We are slowly seeing evidence of significant revenue generation into 2021, as soon as there's a sniff of evidence that substantial contracts will be ongoing into 2022 and beyond then this is rerating to something equivalent of a p/e of 5 or more.

To some degree I'm with Oriens and think it best to err on the side of caution - however it's highly likely that some of that money is heading novacyt's way...

That's bull**** Steve. Trump claimed victory with about 15 states still to declare and with tens of millions of votes still to be counted. Biden has stated numerous times that he believes he will be the victor once all the votes have been counted - hardly the same thing?

We use to live in a time where politicians lied through spin and manipulation of statistics etc, now we live in a time where they have no qualms to just make stuff up that can be proved false with a quick google search.
