The problem with folk like you BYP is that when you speak your mind it's all about being honest and truthful and not deramping but any time others speak positively, especially if with hindsight things have failed to materialise, you conclude that they are rampers. Most of what you've been calling out as ramping on twitter appears to me from the outside to be genuinely invested individuals who really believe/believed in novacyt and, at least on paper for now, have lost an awful lot of money. You've come up with a rolling 12 month forecast not taking into account production increases due in 2022, what's the point in that? Instead of going with the lowest possible figure how about going with 5000MT+ which is what the company are aiming for in 2022? That would almost certainly lead to far more than £14m net profit next year (or July to July of about ~4500MT if you're that way inclined).

Anyway a PE of 10 is extremely low with the potential for the BE storage story to start unfolding soon, are you aware of Largo's current PE ratio?

I've taken seven 6 innova LFTs and 1 PCR test over the past four days all since I will have had covid - the pcr test came back positive, only two out of six of the LFTs came back positive!

As far as I'm aware Wilson this is the first time I've had it.

Kitzie not really to be honest. I have faith in the vaccine to at least lessen the severity of illness but if I was more of a sceptic I think I'd have been worried about potentially needing some medical treatment... The main symptom I have is extreme lethargy and breathlessness that I've not experienced before. Also a mild cough and fever but that's starting to subside a little today. But I have my sense of smell and taste which is a big silver lining for me! I think that long lasting symptom is a far bigger deal than some people make out, it's basically altering two of our five senses...

The tiredness has given me a little insight into what long covid must be like for the unlucky minority who continue to suffer months after the virus has left their system, not to be underestimated whatsoever.

At the same time it's bleeding obvious that at some point something is going to give and the share price will move quickly north of where it is today - if BMN truly is worth closer to Largo's £750m than it is FAR's £118m and the business backdrop continues to improve it will happen. We don't know when but if in six months we've met the 2021 guidance and are putting out 5000+ guidance for 2022 the mcap will not stay here at £136m.

So now more than ever it's a case of patience whilst watching the VRFB story unfold.

It's really knocked me for six despite being double vaccinated and just 29 years old - barely been able to get out of bed since Sunday but noticed some improvement today . Having caught covid over the weekend and knowing as many as fifteen other people who have caught it over the past week (range of ages, some double jabbed, some single, some not at all) it feels to me like it's ripping through the country, not declining...

I'm not arguing that cases aren't rising, I'm simply not speculating on something I don't know. In all honesty we've never really known how many people have covid at any one time, it's always underestimated but to varying degrees.

For that reason cases are not going to be the best indicator going forward, hospitalisations and more grimly, deaths, are what will be more informative.

It is pretty obvious though that covid is ripping through the entire nation whether or not the reported figure is 50k, 100k or 20k a day...

That's the difference between a long term holder and a short. It's clear you are hoping to profit from this covid period and be done with novacyt for good. That's fair enough (and I myself might end up in the same boat) but from the company's perspective they don't need to quickly resolve it as short term sentiment really isn't essential in transforming the business into a profitable midcap company.

No doubt people are turning off their apps en masse but that wouldn't stop the reporting of a positive test would it? I'm sure people are still ordering PCR tests if they test positive and will therefore be chalked up as a case.

The metric I'm keeping an eye on is number of patients in hospital - that I think will give a good indication of how much pressure is being put on the NHS.

I think the majority of us are slowly learning the hard truths about investing in AIM - I certainly have and now realise why it's called the Wild West of investing...

Rising inflation is not seen a positive for the stock market as a whole. The biggest concern is that central banks will not want to raise interest rates to control inflation as it will put the recovery in jeopardy.

This is for further down the road however and no, it isn't specific to NEX and won't cause the price here to crash.
