Well the P/E has dropped so low that you aren't currently having to pay growth stock prices for this company that very much is a growth stock - not a foregone conclusion however to get back on track...

Oh come on that isn't going to happen here, the government have chosen the 'learn to live with' rather than 'eradicate as much as possible' approach.

It's a shame that as we enter 2022 we are still relying on covid revenue to keep the share price afloat, I really hoped by now that covid revenue was just one part of novacyt's revenues/outlook.

It will come and patience is needed but it would be great if we get a proper detailed strategic plan around the full year results, not just a passing comment or two in the update.

Because lockdowns are not coming in any meaningful way - sure we might see business closures for a few weeks over the winter but 2020 saw six months of closures and all of the first quarter and beyond of 2021.

There won't be the sort of lockdowns you are pushing for nor does boohoo need there to be.

Boohoo does not need a lockdown to be successful nor do I want one.

What we can confidently say is that IIs are not going to sell just because the share price has fallen - if they were nimble and agile they'd have sold down months ago, they without doubt aren't going to start selling now at such a beaten up share price.

Will they see an opportunity at 140p and start accumulating more? Will new IIs join the party seeing the chance to make 100%+? The answer to both those questions is yes, very likely. At some point the pressure on the shorts is going to be a little too much down here at these levels and they will start closing.

Added a fourth (and absolutely final!) tranche today at 143 - so much potential upside once everything calms down. Nothing is a certainty but very little has changed since the likes of Barclays put a broker target of 530p on boohoo just four or five months ago (since revised down). Very little has changed since most on this bb seemed confident that Boohoo would reach the 600p needed to trigger the board bonus payments.

Be shocked if this isn't the bottom or thereabouts.

Not only that, since March 2020 they have raised £200m at 150% higher share price than today (350P) , added £100m extra to the cash pile from another year's profits, grown revenue to (likely) more than £2b and have strengthened the business in many other ways.

Crazy share price but patience needed.

Even Shore Capital which was the outlier broker with a sell rating for some time reversed it to a buy in November once the share price fell as far as 190p - barring very poor performance going forward this is a rather ridiculous buying opportunity.

DRB the issue with the antibody tests is that, from my understanding, it's the t cells that are keeping those vaccinated relatively protected against severe illness and a little protected against reinfection whilst antibody levels are quickly dropping off - so antibody tests won't tell us a great deal...

As for the SP, expected a solid upward trajectory from the off this morning but at least we got there in the end!

Third and final tranche at 150.3 - got to feel confident with an average of 153.5 when the last capital raise was at 350p and the business has only grown since then...

And no not so bothered about the zoom quiz, this is probably orchestrated by the conservatives to muddy the waters surrounding the actual christmas parties that were clearly held across Westminster last christmas - they were the more flagrant abuses.

This really isn't the point. Many people did not agree with the restrictions, they were exhausted by that point and they chose to ignore them. Not good and disappointing but that is rather different to those setting the rules failing to follow them.

You've got to wonder if, at the height of the pandemic time and time again ministers failed to follow the rules then what sort of example is that? Can you imagine how much worse they'd be behaving if they weren't in positions of power and weren't being watched 24/7?

I'd rather have leaders in charge that keep to the rules and laws they themselves set.

I think there was a broader consensus that bitcoin was reaching $100k before the end of the year with many like Raoul Pal predicting $250k + in Q1 2022 - that made the case here compelling as we've all seen what happens to miners when bitcoin goes on a proper rip, it races ahead in the immediate term.

Folk are just generally more bearish on bitcoin now.
