There's no getting around how transmissible omicron is and SA's vaccine rollout has been relatively poor - perhaps the vaccines do cut transmission somewhat?!

If that were the case it's not only the BOD in on the pump and dump but also those working the social media... really? I think in trying so hard to find foul play you're putting 2 and 2 together and making 5.

I think it's damaging to be making these allegations of DA already, to assume that BOD manipulation was going on under Graham and is continuing under David...

Michael Saylor will do a lot of damage to the reputation of bitcoin in my opinion. The way in which he has gambled the entire fate of MicroStrategy on its success and the mantle he has taken as bitcoin figurehead makes him look ever more a snake oil salesman at the top of a pyramid scheme.

As MicroStrategy's holding grows ever bigger it is impossible to believe Michael really cares for bitcoin and its community, beyond the wealth he hopes it brings his way.

The only issue I have with you byp is the baseless claims you pepper in about BOD manipulation. The share price rose because it had fallen to an obscenely low level and the talk of omicron (not then named that) led to a short sharp rise as sentiment returned in a way we hadn't seen for a while. How was the 'Approval of COVID-19 test under CTDA legislation' a ramp?

The problem we have share price-wise is the lack of interest in the board to share more than the bare minimum, the last thing they can be genuinely accused of is a ramp to help out their friends and family!

The conversation around buying BTC vs Argo yesterday was interesting and highlighted my own personal feelings on the matter, at least all the while the business operates as a bitcoin miner rather than a leader in the digital asset space - the time to buy Argo is when sentiment is so low that the shares are well oversold vis a vis BTC and the time to sell is the opposite.

For now I am only interested in the odd trade here and there, the potential for an entry well below a pound in preparation for the next move up is too great to go buying in today.

That's true but don't forget these substances like tobacco and cigarettes are taxed, people re disincentivised to smoke because of the reasons you've outlined - surely the same should be applied to a vaccine that reduces the burden on the NHS?

That's where I stand, I see no problem with vaccine refuseniks being somewhat disadvantaged for the decisions they are making but exclusion from society is a step too far.

Even if not another lockdown, extra restrictions, mask mandates, on top of the cold weather is likely to lead to a meaningful shift from physical offline shopping to online.

If Kallu was genuine he wouldn't perpetually be bearish, every company has its price unless riddled with debt and facing insolvency. He now says it should be worth half of what it is now but I'm pretty confident if it was 75p a share (that just looks so strange) he'd be telling us it's worth no more than 30p!

Exactly Kaeren - if it's the case that omicron is viciously infectious but with lower mortality and the vaccines are still effective against severe illness then it narrows the demographic once again that are considered 'at risk' - Last year pre vaccines I believe about 2.5 million folk were told to shield and another 5 million or so considered vulnerable, we are now talking more along the lines of a million or so deemed at risk (the frail end of elderly and severe health problems) but with how infectious omicron is they will be reached by the virus putting the healthcare sector under unworkable demand.

Surely throwing the kitchen sink at protecting care homes and nursing homes would be a priority?!

I find it strange how barnetpeter skulks around all other boards looking for the lowest entry possible but with Arb it's a long term investment despite the potential for the share price to plummet in the short term, why is that BP?

In a nutshell uncertainty is holding boohoo back, not just in terms of the operational landscape issues surrounding a company suddenly come into focus - the sector as a whole is completely out of favour so will take time and some good results from somewhere for things to turn around but as long as the business is progressing behind the scenes it will eventually move through the gears faster than Usain Bolt in his prime.

Early in the year there was confidence that the bonus triggering price of 600p would be reached and those buying at 300p would double their money - we now have a situation where those buying in have every chance of quadrupling their money...

In at 155p - not sure if anymore than a trade but this is crazy low!

Yeah totally get you Gaz, waiting for that positive uptrending entry below 9p. I'm personally waiting for a more promising breakout entry at 3p which I expect by the end of the week - gl!!!

During this recent rally I reduced slightly as I had grossly overexposed myself with extra shares at 230p but still have the majority of my holding and plan to see this through for at least a year or so... but to be honest I quickly lost interest in posting as soon as the share price started recovering - on up days the ramping goes into overdrive and on down days the trolls simply take over.

It's hard riding this rollercoaster praying each morning for news that stems the volatility but all the same the share price is built on strong fundamentals and not speculation - it will come, eventually!

Been sitting on the sidelines here for a little while but find it absolutely fascinating that whilst Boohoo sits at a three year low (ignoring the flash crash in March 2020) the shorts continue to increase their position.

Still hard not to give this a proper look at this price though.

This is a fabulous opportunity for those that believe in bitcoin to see solid returns medium term buying in at this point - however with sentiment around miners so low traders know that there is every chance of the SP going even lower first which would give even bigger returns if they call it right.

There needs to be a bit of FOMO and it's not there right now.

Lololol unless a nuclear bomb is dropped right in the middle of Vanchem we are not going to see 8p breached and a tumble towards 1.25p.

BarneyR, if you've never seen a share price underperform the good news flow like Argo has then you've not been paying attention - it happens all the time! The stock market isn't rational, there are countless examples where company progress is evident but the share price has remained stagnant or even fallen - my biggest investment is a mining company called Bushveld Minerals and they are now valued at the same price that they were valued after the covid March 2020 crash, when the stock market crashed harder than it ever had and the world was in chaos + there's been huge operational progress in that period. Completely illogical but the market in the short and medium term doesn't always make sense - there are nefarious actors that are able to control the share price, sentiment plays a massive massive part, hype, momentum, shorting future market confidence etc

The cream will eventually rise to the top however so it's all about picking the right companies at the right price.

So whilst 40000 tonnes of vanadium is needed over the next 1-3 years for these VRFB projects production is currently slowing significantly globally (due to cuts in China)? Something is going to give soon surely...
