The annual report will be out in April but no specific date has been set yet as far as I know. Alongside the annual report we are expecting more details on the company's plans going forward post-covid (/alongside covid).

Communication has been a problem and it may seem to many that DA is no different to his predecessor but it still awaits to be seen - he will be judged (and rewarded) based on his performance over three years (Dec 2024 vesting date) not the first 4 months and with no need to raise any funds he will be doing things at his own pace in order to maximise shareholder value long term.

In the meantime we frustratingly continue to trade well below our net asset value.

Right now net asset value will be something around £175m or £2.50 a share (estimated until we get full year results). We won't need to sell tons of covid OR non covid tests to see a meaningful move from this price, we will simply need a sentiment shift which should come once there's a discernible difference in communication.

Covid revenue will be dwindling but if we continue to post a profit (however small) in the years ahead then it makes the current valuation look ludicrous - time will tell.

For my own research and models I’m going with ~ 10% of supply at risk, which in an already tight market is highly significant.

We should also probably assume that some of it stays in Russian already…

25% is perhaps a little exaggerated but certainly something substantial, around 15-17 percent.

Threshold crossed 25th Nov, Date on which issuer notified 17th Feb. It's a bit rarer to be as late as that but three or four weeks happens regularly.

I'm looking for that entry post February results, not before, especially with the Rus/Ukr uncertainty threatening to take BTC lower.

I believe the rules stipulate informing the company within two trading days but it is abused all the time - I see TR1s regularly a month late and occasionally as much as four or five months late with no punishment from the FCA.

But yeah biosynex appear to be playing by the rules if their last two TR1s are anything to go by.

They crossed the last threshold on the 14th February, two weeks ago today. Volume was very high on the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th so could easily have been adding then. If they are adding on low volume days they'll be trying their best not to spike the share price.

if their strategy was to accumulate as much as possible to strengthen their hand in any future merger/distribution deal then they'll be thanking their lucky stars that they are able to buy as cheap/cheaper than when they first start buying at pre TR1 announcement - still reckon they might already have 6%+ but probably have to wait a bit longer to find out for certain.

What I mean is the share price was ~260p before the results landed and only a combination of a lack of detailed forward guidance in the RNS and then the April comment saw the share price sink - for new entrants it's a 50% return just to that basic level and April is the key date for that.

But yeah not assuming silence for a whole month, the recent TR1s should remind everyone of that.

It's a good bit lower than before the first biosynex TR1... logical? No, but it's simply thanks to a few PIs chasing after some of the crashing FTSE stocks. Another TR1 after this lull and it will be rinse and repeat.

It's been five weeks since DA told us we'd be hearing more in April and the share price tanked so we're now about half way there to that update. Little more patience guys and girls!

He was right last year, hopefully he's right again.

It is totally shocking and awful what is happening but it is not as simple as the UK/US turning a blind eye, it is not their duty to intervene in all wars and doing so would run the very real risk of serious and catastrophic consequences beyond anyone's imagination - the Ukrainian government does have the option to surrender and lay down their weapons and give in to Putin's demands re NATO in order to protect innocent civilians.

I agree with that CaptainSwag, there are many that simply don't understand why anyone would buy novacyt shares today, if anything they consider it humorous when others try to argue that there's deep value at this price.

To them it's as simple as 'covid test revenue will reduce over time to zero, novacyt makes virtually all its money from covid hence ncyt worth more or less what it was pre covid' and they'd avoid buying if the share price dropped to £1.60, to £1.40 and even a pound - as you say it's untouchable and worthless to them.

Of course we know differently to that and so do others, including biosynex, but until that narrative changes and DA gives us something to be excited about it will probably continue to leave us scratching our heads.

There are those on here (not naming names) who genuinely seem to think we could fall well below the cash level of ~ £1.45. Well, if that were to happen it would surely happen now what with the Russian invasion and potential news void until April, right?

Like you butcher I expect at worst we tread water for another week or so before seeing a bit of buying pressure in the run up to April. At best, multiple TR1s from biosynex, an R&D update, co-prep launch and who knows maybe something else leftfield that catches those on the sidelines out

One can hope eh?!
