The same occurred early this year. We saw an absurd disconnect when the share price fell to 21p/£17m mcap in late August despite highly positive news re agreement with indigenous communities and an interim result that showed $5m net profit for the half year.

Three months on and gold has not merely held up but has pushed on, the ore sorted has been purchased which shows even greater confidence re the Coringa situation and there's been a significant extension to the mine life at Palito.

I think 30p/£22m is just as absurd if not more absurd than the 21p low.

Hexam i'd distinguish between surviving and thriving. I think $100k BTC happening before the halving (i.e very soon!) would provide the potential for raising enough to keep them in business for the foreseeable but it wouldn't come without considerable pain - any funder would take their pound of flesh and possibly take as much as 30% of the company at a steep discount to market price.

Factoring in future dilution is there a scenario in which Argo could one day be trading at say 25p again? I'm not sure there is unless bitcoin goes crazy... not 'just' $100k.

SF, put Orion aside because that is repaying a former loan like-for-like.

BMN have received $8.1m from SPR so far with a further $13.2m coming from the Vanchem sale soon. It is expected that they'll also receive ~$4m for Mokopane, a minimum of $12m from issuing shares and a working capital facility of $25m-$30m. And then there's whatever they get from selling their stake in Cellcube.

BMN are burning through cash certainly and won't be able to pay down much debt or have much left to reinvest with V as low as it is but they won't have any issues meeting the repayment obligations in June of next year.

These deals give BMN a year's breathing space no matter the V price (within reason) but the longer V remains deflated the poorer the long term outlook as we could end up with only half of Vanchem, Mokopane gone and Cellcube and yet still with little to no cash to invest and no change in the debt situation. That's the effect of low V prices if they continue.

At these gold prices Serabi will, in no time at all, have a cash position greater than today's market cap, with or without Coringa doubling production. If the market cap hasn't considerably risen by then we'll see the returns we expect from massive special dividends or share buy backs.

You don't make this sort of profit without a reaction, even if lagged.

When the Orion deal was announced the share price was about 3.6p and that CLN conversion price was 8p, more than double. Now 2.6p and 3.99p

Whilst the initial conversion price was always going to be lowered I thought that CLN might be unchanged and would have been a healthier target to have in mind.

The min of $12m funding by SPR and others is at the same price as Orion, so 3p. The CLN was also cut in half from 8p to 3.99p.

It's a lot of dilution.

Whilst i'm also keeping the faith there is nothing baffling whatsoever about the recent share price action. In the Investor Meet following the interim results we were led to believe that we were in store for a very exciting end to the year and yet two months have passed since without any share-bolstering news.

Still one more month til 2024 so it might be that all the news comes at the end of the quarter but the recent dearth of news has been disappointing.

You love to talk about traders but there are evidently no professional traders working this stock daily, the volumes are just way too low. What likely happens is, take this week for example, the news out of China encourages a handful of people to buy and then the slightly higher price tempts a few others to sell a portion of their holding, perhaps because they are overexposed or see what they think is an opportunity elsewhere. What matters is that the net effect continues to be positive and the share price rises, even if gradual. That the downtrend is broken and we see an uptrend.

All this talk of traders ‘rinsing the little man’ is total non fiction, absolutely nobody is making good money by professionally trading this stock.

From what I remember the lowest actual buy and sell prices were 1.25p and 1.1p - I think the 0.9p shown on HL was the advertised bid price, for a brief moment, so it never did go below a pence.

No, not at that price with the below metrics but I'm yet to look into ISSC properly so I must be missing something from Lottie's post.

Why would a company with low to no debt, £14m cash in the bank and £7m annual profit be sold off for £9m? That makes no sense. What am I missing? Surely Harl would need to pay many times that hence the 'unequivocal rejection of the proposal?'

Any early or tentative signs of another pandemic will lead to Novacyt multibagging from that alone. Not a reason to invest by itself, certainly not, but another factor to bear in mind on top of already sitting well below it's net cash position, barely more than a third of its Net Asset Value, the high chance of further cash injection from DHSC dispute, zero debt and the positive outlook of Yourgene under the Ncyt banner.

All those positives have to be weighed up against the one major risk of losing the dispute of course.

Agree Kaeren although I do think we were seeing strong support at 50p anyway so didn’t take much for this to move like it has today… if that China story develops then we could see a much bigger move imo.

Actually far from what PI100 keeps saying we're actually seeing far healthier price action than we have for years now. In the past he would have ended up correct when he said a few weeks back '30s is inevitable' and the other day when he said 'back to the 40s' but instead we're just starting to see very subtle and gradual consolidation at 50p with a likely sustained move coming next imo.

I stand by my view that we'll settle at a higher base by the new year (~80p?) as anticipation builds towards the first trading update that includes YG + the countdown timer well and truly on re DHSC dispute and possible settlement.
