I made a lot from one and lost most of that from the other.

I don't think I'm the only one that invests primarily on AIM that's down over the past few years but my gold investments have clawed a lot back.

Why?

Avacta has ~9 months cash runway and a market cap multiple times what they need to fund another 12 months if it doesn't come via LD/partnership. Never ever in that situation will you see company shares suspended and auditor's refuse to sign off accounts.

All I said was I laughed at the notion of you being 'Mr Balanced'. You are willing to throw out extreme examples to the downside but you shoot down any optimistic suggestions.

The frequency of your posts goes through the roof when the share price is in freefall with little to no comment when sentiment improves a tad. That's fine, one could argue that, say, you and Icecool together make for a somewhat balanced bb but you yourself are not the balanced analyst that you want to be seen as.

You don't see those sorts of RNS' following an 18% fall over a month, you see those when the share price is down 30% in a day.

That's two months away, bit early to be calculating the 10 day vmap. And it's 5% discount to 10d vamp, not 10%.

That’s if you’re assuming that a deal can only be cut once the initial read out is released publicly. I’m not, I’m assuming those interested parties will soon be made aware of the data coming through, we’re talking five months of data by the summer.

Obviously no one knows as to whether a deal will be struck well in advance of runway dwindling to zero but p1b did start a whole year before the runway comes to an end, so not quite as tight as you are making out. Especially if we add in Coris sale.

Risk/reward will mean a floor is set around the price we are now.

If we are waiting for 1b data in order to strike the sort of deal to fund the rest of ava6000/6103 into clinic then Avacta are already funded to that point, more or less.

Yes they would have to suck up two more Heights payments and perhaps raise a few $m cash in the interim so they don’t take it to the wire but it’s not the grim situation financially that many are trying to make out. It’s really quite close.

IIs finally starting to buy and now you’re feeling the worst? The worst is less than compelling data later this year, Heights selling does not suggest that in anyway, institutions buying suggests the opposite, albeit somewhat neutral following BG selling out during/after P1a.

An extra 20% or so shares is not the end of the world if Avacta delivers all they are promising.

That large sell must have been being worked from yesterday or someone distressed having to exit immediately- who would sell so far below bid otherwise after such a good update.

This is the longest period without a fundraise and considering how low production was at the back end of last year that means GRL are now generating cash, no matter what the production level is.

It's not enough given the debt but it's a positive at the very least and means there's time to get to this 1000 ounce target.

I do agree about an eventual takeover but likely be more like 50p.

Still a return to be had from here but obviously long termers won't see profit.

I bet you wish you had some shares to sell for a profit but you don't as you thought all upcoming news was already priced in at 15p.

'those results already priced in' - jesus this again. Hex is a 50p+ a share come the summer if all goes to plan re timelines and revenue therefore everything that derisks along the way pushes us closer to that 50p+

Failure is largely priced in at 16p.

Who knows what comes next but certainly not this Rob chap. He spent ages telling us all on THX bb that the company was running out of money and a placing was coming… about a debt free cash cow that is producing $30m net profit a quarter! It’s 100% up since he kept warning us.

The same traders buying and selling would explain it.
